Beschreibung

We are a couple travelling in California right now. We have been living in Denmark for 3 years, and after finishing our studies, we wanted to do a really long travel along the West Coast of the US.
While we have many different interests and skills, we also have a lot of shared ones: We are both very open minded people, we love to meet new people and connect. We are the happiest when we are out in nature hiking and camping. David is a videographer, and Martina is a Forestry major. While she loves to get to know everything about local ecology and is plant-nerding away, David loves movies and history. We make a pretty good team, and would love to volunteer somewhere, and be a part of something bigger!

We have experience with workaway/wwoofing, we worked on two different farms in Canada in spring '20, for a total of 2 months. We helped with maintenance projects, gardening, creating a small film, painting a mural, and much more. Living on a farm, volunteering, and getting to know a family and culture is still a core memory of our past trip, and something we talk about often.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

David is an experienced videographer, he is very creative and always up for a new film project, if you need any help in that area. Other than that, he is great in the kitchen, and likes gardening and DIY projects.
Martina likes caring for animals, she has a lot of experience with horses. She likes gardening, helping to build things, and loves to paint (both walls and canvas).
We are both curious to try and learn new things, lending a helpful hand to whatever task will arise.

Was noch ...

We are currently travelling along the west coast, living in our car. While we enjoy the freedom of travelling and being spontaneous, we are craving some stability; staying in one place and talking to other people than ourselves ;-) We miss the feeling of purpose, and would therefore love to help and contribute to a family/community with whatever we have to give.
