Sky here! Im so very thrilled to continue little adventures worldwide!
For the past few years I’ve been very lucky to volunteer at a eco resort near Temuco, an organic farm in Pucon and a lovely bus café in Chaiten, Chile. We have had a wide range of daily tasks with other volunteers, which consists of maintaining the project's organic agriculture (utilizing permaculture practices & local traditional methods) in an open field, green dome and greenhouses (some of them we built from scratch!); including daily watering, weeding, pruning & harvesting.
I have also provided daily care for goats, chickens, llamas, sheep, dogs and cats and overall construction and maintenance of the general living areas and cabins.
One of my favorite responsibilities is how to manage the resort's walking & city tours in addition to local cultural explorations.
I have an extensive experience in event management, hospitality, creative/expressive art and sustainable organic agriculture.
Love to learn new things, don’t take myself to seriously and like to experience the incredibly varying ideologies and philosophies that flow through this world.
Im so very eager to be challenged daily and excited to share personal experiences that have brought me to this point in life. Cheers to new beginnings!

Hola!

Mi nombre es Sky! O Soledad (mi nombre en español).
Estoy muy entusiasmada de continuar nuevas aventuras alrededor del mundo!
Dentro de estos ultimos años he tenido la suerte de ser parte del voluntariado en un eco resort en Temuco, una huerta organica en Pucon y un para un café bus en Chaiten, Chile.
Dentro de nuestro trabajo como voluntarios tuve una gran variedad de tareas, las cuales consistian en mantener la agricultura organica de los proyectos (utilizando metodos de permacultura y metodos tradicionales de la region) en campo abierto, domos e invernaderos (que construimos con otros voluntarios! :) )
Dentro de la agricultura era responsables por el riego, sacar la maleza, podar y cosechar. Tambien me encargaba de cuidar cabras, gallinas, llamas, ovejas, perros y gatos.
Ademas, ayude con la construccion y mantenimiento de las areas comunes y cabanas. Una de mis responsabilidades favoritas es dirigir los tours del resort y de la ciudad, ademas de dar a conocer la cultura local.
Tengo experiencia en gestion de eventos y hoteleria, artes visuales y agricultura organica sustentable.

Me encanta aprender y vivir nuevas experiencias, especialmente de estas increibles filosofias e ideologias que fluyen por el mundo.
Estoy contenta y ansiosa de poder desafiarme en la vida! y muy emocionada de poder compartir mis experiencias que me han traido aqui. Salud por las nuevas aventuras!
