Beschreibung

My name is Jens, and I am 27 years old, currently travelling in Asia but based in Norway. I've been working in a kindergarten for the last year and a half, but am now taking some time to explore more of the world, meet new people with backgrounds different than my own and hopefully grow as a human being. I recently completed an English teaching course (CELTA), so I'm eager to put some of those skills to use and practise my teaching. I love to play music (mostly clarinet, but also some guitar and piano), and enjoy sharing this passion with others.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I recently completed a course qualifying me to teach English as a foreign language (the Cambridge CELTA), and I am eager to use this quailfication and practise my teaching skills. Before taking that course I worked full-time in a kindergarten for just over a year, most of the time as a teaching assistant and for a few months as a special education teacher with a child who needed extra help. All in all, I have quite a lot of experience working with children, and I'm keen to do more of this.

In addition to doing teaching work, I have been playing music for most of my life, both for my own enjoyment and sometimes as a source of income. My main instrument is the clarinet, but I also play some piano and guitar. Improvisation is my passion, and I love to get together and make music spontaneously with others. Although I have never actually taught music before, I would very much like to try it out, and combine my love of music with my passion for teaching.
