Currently in Northern Ireland, planning a move to Canada in July 2024!

Beschreibung

Hello there! We are Emma (28) and James (33) from Northern Ireland. We have been a couple for over 10 years and are planning to immigrate to Canada, starting in Saskatchewan in July 2024. So far, we have made memories in South Africa, Mexico, and Europe including Italy, Spain, Portugal and Serbia.

We are both avid nature lovers and we love to get involved with all things animals! We both have strong work ethics but we also appreciate our quality time together relaxing, reading or playing games. We would describe ourselves as peaceful adventurers, who love to try new foods and experiences. We believe that life is short, and it should be spent doing things that you enjoy!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We both have a keen passion for wildlife, having both studied ecology, conservation and animal behaviour at university. We have knowledge in animal welfare, conservation and land management.

James has practical experience in farming having grew up on a working cattle farm and has also held other conservation related positions such as Countryside Ranger, Field Assistant and Conservation Officer. Currently, he is a Field Ecologist for a government-funded organisation where his main role includes identifying a variety of plant species and writing up scientific reports.

Emma has carried out multiple projects throughout the course of her education, having spent three months in Mexico studying howler monkeys for her masters thesis. She has also gained practical experience working as a Fundraiser for the RSPB and has held roles such as Scientific Officer for a government-funded organisation. Currently, she works as a Dogcare Assistant where she is responsible for the care and safety of a large, diverse group of dogs.

Other interests include music, reading, adventuring, and we are also big foodies! We love the outdoors and all things wildlife, we are at our most comfortable in rural environments, the beach or the forest!

Was noch ...

James is a keen musician, having talents in singing, writing lyrics and playing guitar. Emma enjoys listening to music, reading, playing cards but is also a thrill-seeker, who one day hopes to skydive! We both enjoy gardening and spending time in mountains or forests.

We would describe ourselves as creative and kind people. We want to surround ourselves with positive people and positive experiences!
