Beschreibung
Retired English couple living in rural France with our menagerie of dogs, horses, sheep and chickens. We have a pretty four bedroomed farmhouse with a pool surrounded by gardens, countryside and farmland. We like to grow our own veg, enjoy the local wildlife and ride outs on the horses. Local towns of Chauvigny and La Roche-Posay provide more cultural places to visit along with Angles sur L'Anglin, voted the prettiest village in Vienne. Poitiers is only 35 mins away by car.

Arbeit
We need help with maintaining the garden, some painting projects and animal care. Anyone experienced with horses will be able to come on some ride outs either in our elderly boy or if more experienced my big ISH. We have an outdoor school and some jumps. If dog walking is more your thing then we have two lively Weimeraners and two Heinz57's
Unterkunft
2 X Double bedrooms available, en suite bathrooms in large comfortable farmhouse. We have a large communal and very well equipped kitchen for social meals, mainly cooked by Peter. We tend to cook and eat our main meal middle of the day but no restrictions there. We aren't vegetarian
We are tucked away in the countryside so if you have your own transport that would be beneficial but if not we can certainly provide taxi services :-)

We are a friendly down to earth couple who love our country life with the animals here and like to engage with our visitors, share a glass of wine. There is plenty to see and do, places to visit depending on what you like to enjoy. We are happy to provide lifts to places of interest such as mediaeval cite in Chauvigny or if you know and are experienced with horses come out for a ride. Lounge by the pool, soak up some sun. Usually are evenings are spent very quietly or occasionally we pop out to a local restaurant for light entertainment.
