  Hello to all the workawayers!!!
  We are Claudia & Ruben, an Angolan/from the world married couple who met while traveling the world! We are excited to be a host!!! After travelling and working for a while we have decided to be established in the angolan forest and build a sustainable home where we need some help..We believe our lifetime is much more rich if we own our time and our projects to sustain ourselves in the world, protect the forest space for other safe livings and share/learn the experience with volunteer travellers. We are building our ecohome and a place to receive travellers who are curious with the angolan mainland and its people, as a new place in the map for travellers. This is a place for new discoveries, encounters and onself space in harmony with the pure, untouched african forest and the all country as you wish.
  
  We live between Quibala(forest place) and Benguela (coastal city) in the south.
  
  IN QUIBALA- KWANZA SUL PROVINCE- open for 3 weeks staying maximum
  MAIN ECOBUILDING PROJECT- Dates and abouts
  In Quibala, in the province of Kuanza Sul we are surrounded by small villages sustained by the forest and family organic agriculture. These villages, as the majority of the countryside villages, are built with simple adobe techniques who were passed from generations to generations. Together with local people, We are using the same materials, provided by the forest to build our home and travellers place.
  
  Here is our calendar for building the forest home:
  
  From December 2023 to April 2024: we´ll be focused on getting all the material for construction and put on the site of construction;
  From Jan to Fev: we´ll be building the base of the house.
  From May 2024 : we´ll start the ecobuilding of our home.
  
  We are looking for help from May onwards, to build our home!!! Is anyone there?
  
  We provide good food (all of us are entitle to share the cooking work :) )and accomodation - we have places for camping and also a big storage room where we all can turn it into a nice dormitory. We have a big kitchen, toilet, a small living room and a balcony. All to share with the beautiful people coming for help.

  COFFEE PROJECT
  We are starting our coffee plantation and the work involves building the nursery structure with eucalyptus and net for the coffee baby plants; pick the coffe and do all the process from collection to new baby plants and also ferment some coffe for our group comsuption.

  About our site base in Benguela
  Our main income comes from our garden centre located in the province of Benguela. Here we live near the beach and about 6 hours drive from Quibala- which means that we will be travelling around and its an opportunity for you to know the countr a bit more.
  
  If you are interested in visiting Benguela and give us a help here, that would also be awsome!! You can help with any knowledge and ideas; you can help perfectly in the way you find your fit in the project- wether with online presentations and social networks, web tools developing and share presentations or in putting your hands in the soil.
  
  The work at the garden centre involver taking care of plants and reproduce plants. If you have artistic competences, we can work on something interested if you propose- it needs to be achievable to finish according to the time of your staying.
  
  In Benguela, we offer accomodation and food; an apartment- room with toilet, living room and an outside kitchen. There is nearby a local food market where you can get fruit, vegetables and other. The city also has hyper and supermarkets where you find everything you need for your staying.
  
  We will be travelling around between the main city coast Benguela, where the a garden centre is, and the bioconstruction site, in our own 4x4 .
  
  About us
  We enjoy meeting people, make new friends and have a good time surrounded by people, music a good food.
  We are flexitarian, wich means we do prefer vegetarian organic food as much as possible, but we eat meat sporadically, and we welcome people with their own choices. We love home-made pizza!
  
  we do not smoke tabaco and if you do we apreciate the smoke outside the house; no shoes inside the house please :). Pets are welcome but outside the house.
  
  We welcome everyone to join us and help us in any way, and here are also some special skills that we are in need: permacultutre enthusiasts and/or masters or just curious people; wildlife conservationists, website designer, digital marketing designer, coffee farming experience, adobo building master, english and french teachers, informatic teacher for our team.
  
  About visa: Angola is giving free 30 days visa when arriving on the airport border. When arriving to Benguela, you need to check up in person on the SME office- imigration office- that is what they request.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Angola is an undiscovered country for travellers because it was closed for soo many years due the war that ended in 2002. We now leave in peace and are politically stable. We are happy to receive travellers who can discover our country through our people and our different landscapes. We will be working with our local team and moving between the coastal city and the forest where you can experience local life and nature.

  Arbeit

  Bioconstuction is our main project but there are other areas where we welcome your knowledge or handy help such us: agroecology, coffee farming, flower farming, welcome general farming using permaculture, biohacking, beekeeping, horse-breaker, livelihoods catalogue, map making, online presentations and social networks, web tools developing and share presentations and yoga classes :). If you have grounded experience in one of these areas please share, if not, its ok, let´s learn together. Any students are also welcome.

  Unterkunft

  We offer accomodation and food-on site and we welcome people to cook with us. During the time in the coastal city you will have your own room, salon, kitchen and bathroom wich is located in the garden centre, just near our home. During the time in the forest where our project farm is, you will have a room and bathroom that migh be shared with other volunteers.

  Was noch ...

  Local transport in the coast city of Benguela is very easy, its just a few meters from the garden centre- wether mototaxis, taxis or train. On the farm we are using our 4x4 while working. If you want to visit some of the near villages, we can give you a lift, or you can talk with some employes who own motorcycles and arrange with them, or if you would like to discover the forest, you can ask one of the people who work with us to guide you. We´ll find a solution to help you.
  
  Also there are bus coming from Luanda to Benguela ou from Luanda to Quibala where you will bw meeting us. We can let you know about bus companies and their locations.
  There are flights from Luanda domestic airport to Benguela.
