    Description

We are an off grid hospitality venue with values deeply set in well being; for our guests and staff alike. We have three 2 person bespoke eco huts, a 4 berth bunkhouse & seasonal safari tent that sleeps 6. There is a wood fired hot tub and sauna.

We invite interest from couples or two friends travelling together. Ideally we would like workawayers to join us for the full season (April to October) but a two months minimum stay is never ruled out. You will be really hands on, multi skilled, uncomplicated and an excellent communicator. Someone who is happy to work both in a team or solo from March until the end of October. Most tasks we get involved in are rugged and outdoors dealing with accommodation change over days (Monday and Friday), growing/grounds, woodland/firewood. There is almost always an interesting project or two on the go.

You will be joining a small but very welcoming team of four, Sarah, Phil and Abi. Brodie (the Collie) is another friendly helper, who joins us on most days outdoors.

In return for 25hrs a week, Workawayers receive an hourly rate that meets the UK real living wage with subsidies taken (following UK guidelines) for accommodation in their own caravan.

This 6 acre homestead looks from Abernethy's Old Caledonian pine forest to the Cairngorms mountains. We sit in the relatively midge free eastern Highlands. As well as being busy with giving warm and authentic hospitality to folk from all around the globe, we need to fix things that break or wear out, manage the laundry, wood fired hot tub and sauna. We maintain woodland and woodstocks, the flower and vegetable beds and care for our chickens and ducks.

If you have at least some relevant skills that would help us and you can see yourself as a part of our busy and purposeful team then please do get in touch.

    help with hens and ducks?
    help mend things?
help clean the wood fired hot tub?

be cheerful in rain, snow and glorious sunshine?
    look after yourself?
be a total non smoking team player while at the same time be self sufficient and personally resilient?
