Description
Be part of our family (Matías, Karen, Elizabeth and Abigail) and live the experience of learning by doing! Everything we learned after traveling and being part of different farm, construction and renewable energy projects, we are now implementing in our field. Here you will find beautiful meadows, forests, mountains, rivers and each space has a different environment that invites you to connect with nature. We have cows, calves, sheep, ducks, chickens, cats, dogs, a greenhouse and an orchard. Our life revolves around the countryside and activities related to construction. We are currently involved in the following projects: - Greenhouse improvement. - Planting of seasonal seedbeds. - Transplantation of native trees. - Fertilization of cultivation terraces. - Generation of leaf soil and compost. - Next planting of potatoes in September. - Warehouse construction. - Construction of Quincho. - Construction of sheep fences. - Collection of rainwater. Like all travelers, we are respectful of all ways of living life, but you should know that our farm is self-cultivated to eat, therefore some meals may include meat. If you are a vegetarian or vegan we have no problem as long as this does not cause you discomfort, sharing the table with dishes that include meat and dishes with only vegetables or legumes.
Types of help and learning opportunities

We live 17km from the city of Los Muermos towards the coast, our town is rural, a bus passes in the morning (8:30) and then in the afternoon (16:30) hrs. Every Friday I go to the city to collect discarded food and I can take it in my truck to the terminal from where buses leave for different points of interest. In the same way we can organize a family outing to visit the attractions of our town such as: - Hua Huar. - Stake. - Meowlin-La Pasada. Our town can also serve as a base to get to know other points in the Los Lagos Region, such as Puerto Montt, Frutillar, Puerto Varas, etc. How to get there: You can get by public bus to the terminal in the city of Los Muermos, where we can meet up and get to the field in our vehicle.
