We are dedicated Christians looking for English native speakers to come for a short term stay with us for a maximum of 30 days for us to practice English with you. We are in a small town close to Lake Toba, the largest fresh water volcanic lake in South East Asia with a fantastic view on Sumatra island, Indonesia. If you are considering travelling to South East Asia, please consider coming to us. We are very close to Malaysia and Singapore, about 30-60 minutes by flight, just across the strait of Malacca. Our airport is very close to Penang, the 2nd largest city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, and Singapore, the cleanest, most beautiful city, most advanced and most developed country in South East Asia.

The hostel is a cozy European-style guest house located in the historic East Village of Cambria. We are a homey creative alternative to busy dorm style youth hostels, plain-box motels and expensive B&Bs. Cambria is a quintessential California beach town and artist enclave that offers up a variety of meaningful and inspiring activities for the artist, musician, foodie, nature lover, hiker, surfer, and bicycle rider - bicycle friendly community, hiking/jogging trails, live music, restaurants & galleries to sample, and coastlines to explore, there is something for everyone. Because we are in a small town with an older population, if you are looking for excitement, bars, and clubs, this may not be the place for you. The hostel is located one mile from beautiful Moonstone Beach, and only four hours from San Francisco and Los Angeles. We are the perfect midway point along the sprawling Pacific Coast Highway! Our guests come from around the world so you're sure to meet a plethora of creative, adventurous, and talented people. A friendly neighborhood hostel, we are looking for energetic, optimistic, happy, outgoing individuals to help us build and sustain a wonderful hosteling experience for our guests and keep our environmental impacts low. Our living area is small and shared with guests, so you must be neat in your living style and enjoy being with others. The hostel requests 20 to 25 hours a week in exchange for room and a breakfast that consists of organic oats, raisins, sunflower seeds, jam, fruit, bread, tea, and coffee. Accommodation may be in a small room with a single bed and suitable for a travel backpack or camping in the summer. Volunteers have full access to the hostel that includes free wifi, showers, kitchen with a beautiful cast iron collection. We usually ask volunteers to stay a month to two month. Depending on the time of year, more of the activities will take place indoors as opposed to outdoors, including HOUSEKEEPING, checking in guests and projects. The housekeeping should only take a couple of hours. We encourage volunteers to use the hostel as a studio space. To full fill the 20 to 25 hours volunteers create projects to improve the hostel and work on their own portfolio. Volunteers interested in traveling writing, music, jewelry making, yoga, painting, gardening, the outdoors, video work, etc will have an opportunity for amazing experiences.

We live in the north of Germany near the baltic sea. There we have a riding-school and teach academical riding and horsemanship. Also there are two holiday apartments to let. So we need help in the house, in the garden and perhaps in the stable. Doug, Pat and Vanessa Witty live on the 160 acre Witt's End Guest Ranch of beautiful BC mountainside. We are working on turning our property in to a bed and bale, so people with their own horses can come and stay and ride in the countryside. Vanessa is a high school student with a passion for horses, Pat is a Registered Nurse and is working at the local hospitals, Doug works in Yellowknife and is back and forth every few weeks. It is a big property and we have lots of projects to work on, as well as take care of 7 horses, 4 dogs and 2 cats! Pat is a quilter and loves to spend her free time on quilting projects, Vanessa is likely to be found practicing archery, guitar or playing fetch with Duke and Doug likes to be outside with the horses.

We are located in a cozy valley like structure between mid and low range mountains in Nepal. We can view spectacular range of the Himalayas after 1.5 hours - 2 hours drive to the middle hills. Our charity project is taking care of 25 kids in providing them quality education through extra and co-curricular activities. We work with three more children homes that have lovely children facing variety of disabilities, some physical, other economical. We also work with homes for street children from time to time. So we have more than 70 children to interact, then about 20 more street children waiting rehabilitation. It is an interesting mix of children and a wealth of opportunity to find love and acceptance.
