A beautiful, large retreat centre in rural Andalucia. We have two yoga halls and accommodation for up to 36 people and 10 residents. We host yoga holidays, yoga teacher trainings, detox retreats and other holistic or integral groups. The centre is located on about 45 acres of farm land and fruit and olive orchards. We have our own organic vegetable garden, around 100 fruit trees and 350 olive trees on the property, a few horses (not ours), a dog, 4 cats, 90 chickens, 3 turkeys, 4 geese, a peacock and 3 pea hens. The farm is very much integrated into the life of the centre. We make our own olive oil, olives and produce eggs and organic veggies and fruit. Volunteers help out with the farm, the gardens and in the kitchen with veggie chopping and dish washing. If you can make great raw desserts or bake we love that! Volunteers help out 6 days a week, 6 hours per day, in exchange for delicious organic veggie food, yoga, meditation, accommodation and great company. Looking for hard-working, good-natured, easy-going and flexible helpers! If you teach Yoga or are a massage therapist we always need that too. We pay for Massages.

Area: Carabean Ocean French west Indies Island

We are Canadians and live now in Guadeloupe for the past 5 years. We live in an old forth on a very small island south of Guadeloupe. My husband and I worked hard on the site that was neglected for 30 years. We transformed it into a fruit trees and flowers garden. We rent a small house and clear bottom boats to inform people about coral and little fishes. We would love to have some help to keep this environment nice and clean. Sorry for the words that follow, but it is a situation experienced any lately makes me adjust things before your arrival so that you know that you have and still have the choice to come or not ... dependent. We propose a discussion mid-stay on the satisfaction of everyone. We also discover that, and we hope to be wrong, but the last workaways we have not demonstrated that we were wrong to date, the experience that we live together is sharing more than barter. We live together and get involved emotionally (not hear anything other than what it means) in other words, you are considered as friends and we hope that stingy refrain from coming. We sincerely hope that this is not workaway, but we have recently met. We are very generous at the time, involvement in friends, quality of food, we get a lot. This is often the party at home. You do not want someone who does not come to its 3 hours because the accommodation and the food is free. A person who only takes and then we forget, or spends time on the computer or in his tent. This does not mean that this can not be done, but on a regular basis, there is a problem there for us. Here is a paradise for workaways. We know it and want it as well, but we need an exchange, a true sharing. Nous sommes Canadiens et vivons en Guadeloupe depuis 5 ans. Nous vivons entre les murs d'une ancienne caserne miliraire. Ce lieu est vaste et nous aurions besoin d'un peu d'aide chaque jour pour garder ce bel espace en bon état. Bonjour, Désolée pour les mots qui vont suivre, mais c'est une situation vécue toute dernièrement qui me fait ajuster les choses avant ton arrivée afin que tu saches et que tu aies encore le choix de venir ou non... dépendant. Nous proposons une discussion à la mi-séjour sur la satisfaction de tout le monde. Nous découvrons également que, et nous espérons nous tromper, mais les derniers workaways ne nous ont pas fait la démonstration que nous nous étions trompés à date, l'expérience que nous allons vivre ensemble en est une de partage plus que de troc. On vit ensemble et s'implique émotivement (ne pas entendre autre chose que ce que cela veut dire) en d'autres mots, on vous considère comme des amis et nous souhaitons que les pingres s'abstiennent de venir. Nous espérons de tout coeur que workaway n'est pas cela, mais nous en avons rencontré dernièrement. Nous sommes très généreux au niveau du temps, de l'implication au niveau des amis, de la qualité des repas, on reçoit beaucoup. C'est souvent la fête à la maison. On ne désire pas quelqu'un qui vienne ne faire que ses 3 heures parce que le logement et la bouffe est gratuite. Une personne qui ne fait que prendre et nous oublie par la suite, ou passe son temps sur l'ordinateur ou dans sa tente. Cela ne veut pas dire que ceci ne peut pas se faire, mais sur une base régulière, il y a un problème là pour nous. Ici c'est un paradis pour les workaways. Nous le savons et voulons cela ainsi, mais il faut un échange, un vrai partage.

On 480 acres of beautiful rolling hills, meadows, and forests, our ranch is a oasis for Horse Lovers located close to Tees, Alberta, Canada! Enjoy our facilities including: -A indoor arena with soft mixed footing and clay based keep dust free with natural additives. -Outdoor arena with a view across the country. Evening lighting to enjoy moonlight riding. -Round pen with shavings mixed footing. - Vast Horse Play Field with many obstacles such as varying sizes of cross country jumps, trail obstacles with bridges and gates, ramps and poles, etc. and ever expanding and growing. -12 wood indoor box stalls, rail paddocks and turnout pens with shelters and automatic waters, and large fields for horses to be horses! -And of course, the perfect nature with the trails over the land. We have around 40 amazing horses at our Ranch. I, Alicia, bring outside horses in for training, board horses, find new homes for established horses, have natural horsemanship events and clinics, and a professional horse connection coach. Along with all the horses as family, Bill is also a family member on the Ranch and our cats and dogs too. We would love to welcome you also to join our family and team!

You can be with us for a night up to some time, for free, and then if you feel you can spontaneously contribute. What we do? We try to enjoy the moments as they are and sometime we organize some events and activities to share. Your job, depend of the moment you come, and what you like to do, could be about: *doing some house or easy garden (that is more a jungle) cleaning. *writing some reviews or stories, for our blog, about local events, activities, people *help on the improving of the blog, and facebook pages visibility (if you have the skills) *helping the organization about organizing some small events *taking care of guests (if we have) *There could be also a possibility that there is nothing to do, no one to meet, the sky is grey, so last but not least, your job will be (not could be), will be to enjoy your time in any conditions. Sometime we can host you in a small flat of the organization, some other time in house of local volunteers. P.S. We don't have a farm. We are not a community. We are in the city and we are part of the community that is around us.

Area: Munster

Ours is a hostel in the scenic Burren region of Co. Clare in the west of Ireland. It is a rural area with the nearest town 15 klms away. We have a mix of hostel and budget B&B / Self catering. We also have a farm where we have suckler type cows rearing the calves. Carron has a church, national school, and pub/restaurant. There are also other tourism related businesses in and around Carron. The Burren perfumery,Caherconnell stone fort and the Cusack centre. We use renewable energies and are an eco friendly business.
