Area: MallorcaPLEASE ONLY CONTACT US IF YOU CAN SPEND AT LEAST 3 MONTHS HERE. We are looking for help with some of the work around the house and cooking (the recipes you will follow are in English but very easy). We are a young family of 4, Jeremy, Maria, Gabriel and Lolo, our very small dog. We speak English at home, live in the country with a good amount of outdoor space and tranquility but are 2 minutes from the third largest city in the center of Mallorca (Inca). We are also 20 minutes from the capital of the island (Palma). We own a business (meal delivery to client's offices and homes) in Boston that we manage from here. We don't eat animal products (if you need to eat cow/goat's milk, eggs, cheese, etc. you will have to buy them yourself, sorry it's a matter of philosophy of life). We eat macrobiotic food. A macrobiotic diet helps with many health conditions: cholesterol, blood pressure, asthma, anemia, sugar cravings, arthritis, digesting problems, autoimmune diseases, psoriasis, diabetes and even cancer. If you want to improve any disease you could have it would be a great learning experience for you and you probably get better or heal completely. We have had workawayers who recovered from many different diseases and they all felt much better eating this way (had more energy, slept better, were more focused, etc.). First they are scared they are not going to enjoy the food but when they try it they are surprised eating healthfully can be so delicious. They usually say they didn't like vegetables before they ate our recipes and then they say that it's the way we cook vegetables that make them so enjoyable. Our food is not 100% macrobiotic. We "macrotize" recipes from all over the world but we are influenced mostly by the Mediterranean flavors. Another advantage Mallorca has in this regard is that it is very international and so there are many opportunities to immerse yourself in different languages.
