My name is Karen and live with my 4 children and my animals (horses, dogs and cats and two cows) in a ranch not far from Passau, which is worldwide known as "The Three Rivers City", in the region called Lower Bavaria, one of the most charming areas of Germany. We are a small, family-run horse farm specialized in the therapeutic field, outdoor (adventure and experiential) education and all that deals with coaching, the horse taking the role of a co-trainer. It is a very variable and interesting work with children and adults. Furthermore, we offer carriage rides and also the (adequate) transportation of horses. If you would like to work with horses, to learn more about them – and about yourself! – then you have found the right place. Sometimes the work can be hard, because of cleaning stables or building, so you should have the right attitude to work ! We look forward to meeting you, no matter if you are rather manually skilled or prefer to take care of the household, garden and/or stable. I am sure that there is something for each one of you! My daughters (18 and 9years old) and sons (aged 13 and 16) will also enjoy your company. We will have you let beeing part of our familiy, to know us and our country by the time you stay with us The region offers very many leisure time activities, e.g. swimming, mountain biking, climbing, canoeing, etc. But of course there is also the possibility to discover our beautiful university town Passau, which is only 15 min away. Munich, the enchanting Bavarian capital, is approx. 160 km away and very easily accessible by train. We offer you full board and accommodation in an apartment with shower and toilet, plenty of fun …and surely an unforgettable stay! You can communicate with us in English, French and – of course – in German. We rely on your honesty, your vitality and strong motivation in supporting an exciting project. I am widowed but live with my new partner. We are both senior citizens but very young in our outlook on life and still very active. We live with 4 dogs and about 10 cats (some are Ferrel), two geese and a few chickens. We live in a 250 year old stone house in a small hamlet about 7 km from the beautiful and ancient walled town of Dinan in Brittany.

We are a small eco based hostal, near Estoi, 10kms north of Faro and open to guests from late April until end September. We are really looking for a mature lady, easy going, ideally prepared to stay here for a few months. The work would be firstly giving the six rooms a spring clean then setting them up for the season (we run May to September but have guests arriving 29th April) then helping with changing rooms, a little bit of cooking and serving at night if we have guests who want to eat. The work for you is mainly mornings but a little in the evenings as needed and week ends much less - just helping if there are any changeovers or a pizza night! Sundays are complete day off (we try and avoid changeovers then but ocassionaly...). You will eat with us most of the time, we eat with the guests so it makes a friendly set up (unless you want to eat alone, no problem). There is a bicycle you can use or the local town is only 2km away, or we can give you the odd lift to the shops etc. All food included and a little wine as well. Hope to see you, Stu and Owl x
