Description
I am a Portuguese living with our two kids Tilda and Ivo at a wonderful place close to Porto.
Architect born in Porto, I lived and work in Paris and Berlin for 10 years. Together with my family we decided to dive into a new adventure here developing a life project.
With plenties of ideas in our minds we would love to make projects and workshops happen in the future related to craftsmanship, food and art, mind and nature, quality education and social equality.
In the search of tradicional simple and respectful ways of construction I am renovating the barns and the land; constructing all kind of small structures, garden cabins, chicken coops, fences, etc.
A permaculture project is planned and being implemented on our land and any help and knowledge on that field would be very interesting and helpful for us.Types of help and learning opportunities

As we are about to build a project there and there is still plenty of space for new ideas and exchange.
We are open-minded and curious to hear other peoples opinions.
With us you can practice your German and Portuguese but we speak French and English as well.
We love to share and to have food together and to spend the evening with some wine around good conversations.Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.

There is plenty of stuff to do in the garden, that we would like to be a permaculture / forest garden in the future. There is always something to do for our animals (sheeps, Pot-bellied pigs, gooses, chicken, ducks, cats, dog). The vegetable garden needs to cared, trees planting and pruning, water pond, etc
Also there is a lot of building and DIY work to do around the house and the barns. We are renovating the existing buildings with traditional materials and deep respect on the old techniques.
Everybody who wants to is invited to cook while cleaning is a job for the whole team.
Helping around the house / maintenance works are also a part of the tasks.Languages spoken

We have lots of space and nice rooms in our house. You will have your privat room. Probably the bathroom will be shared (depending on how the construction in the house is advancing).
Our charming traditional countryside house is some ways simple. So we heat the kitchen in the winter with wood. But we also do have some gas heaters for the rooms. What else ...
We live in a typical Portuguese village 15 minutes from the sea and 30 minutes from the center of Porto. There is public transport you can use to discover the area and to go to the beach, to Porto or Vila do Conde.

She is a true force of nature, full of love and energy.
She was with us for more than 2 months, and was a great help with the kids, with whom they had a strong connection, helping with the garden, plants and animals. Always ready to help and was very proactive.
