Description
Aloha Volunteers!
Welcome to Uttarakhand, India.
We host a BnB (Eco-tourism project i.e. a farm-stay in Kanatal, Uttarakhand) which is an ideal home for travelers with musical, artistic, literary or spiritual pursuits, star-gazers, flora and fauna enthusiasts, nature lovers and souls seeking communion with self and existence.
If this vibes with you, contact us as we are always in lookout for artists, volunteers for child development and education, Digital/Social Media Marketing, website development, videography and documentation for all projects
Note: We are at altitude of 2590 meters. Climate can be extreme in winters. Plan accordingly.
- The nearest ATM, medical aid and petrol pump are 17 kms from Kanatal
~
Farm location: Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand
We also have a farm around 5 kms from our BnB. Our project is the restoration of eroded land which was once a thriving orchard in this area. The mountainous terraced land is now close to total extinction as only 0.01% survives. This is a last moment effort to keep this very rich and beautiful area on earth. As part of our restoration effort, we are also working on farming & water conservation keeping in view the permaculture guidelines. No skills are required, just a willingness to help!
Note: We are at altitude of 2590 meters. Climate can be extreme in winters. Plan accordingly.
- Flexibility and physical fitness are important skills for farming along with ability to live in wilderness.
We feel that everyone has something to share. Please feel free to write to us for project details.
