Description
We are a widely traveled family of five (kids 11, 9 and 4) in the western part of Finland looking for extra help around the house. Come join us for a great stay enjoying the countryside and experience the Finnish culture!
You are free to hang out with our animals, drive a four wheeler around the small roads, sup-board or row a boat at our near by river side cottage (that can also be your home if you prefer simple and rustic life without running hot water and indoor toilet but a lot of peace and quiet), ski, ride a bike, hike or take part in the many art and culture activities that are going on in our town 7 kms away from our house (no public transport but we can give you a ride if needed). If you have specific skills or interests let us know!
PLEASE NOTE: We are very family orientated so only apply if you genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and animals. Our kids and animals will welcome you with open arms and they will be seeking for your attention. So come prepared, it will be kids jumping at you and dogs stuffing their hairy noses into your face! 😄Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
We have two horses, a few ducks and chooks, two outdoor cats and two happy dogs that all love the extra attention! We need some friendly soul to help with keeping the house and yard tidy, cook if you enjoy and help take care of the animals to some extent. Our garden also desperately needs some work done during summer.
Cleaning up the place after kids and animals is the main thing we need help with. If you are good at amusing kids you get extra cheers! :)Languages

Staying with Suvi and her family was an unforgettable experience. I felt like at home.
I had the chance to experience Finnish life for a month, surrounded by nature and by animals.
The jobs I had to do were different every day, what remained the same was feeding the animals every day and cleaning the stable 2/3 times a week.
