Area:We are a married couple who is running a translation agency but also live in a farm with goats, sheep & farm animals. We are also sheltering some abandoned and street dogs and cats. We have app 50 cats and 25 dogs. Some of the dogs have problems with the farm animals and that is why they need special care when it comes to exercising. Therefore we need help with walking the dogs and if you are experienced with horses, that would mean so much because we have a horse and he is very bored.
Area: Coimbra and CenterHi! We are looking for people to stay with us for about 3 weeks (or possibly longer). The farm produces mainly for self-consumption and that includes fruit, vegetables, nuts, olive oil, wine, cheese and, as my parents are not vegetarians, meat. We have 5 dogs, 8 cats, chicken, ducks, goats, sheep, rabbits and pigs. We live in the countryside of central Portugal. The farm already belonged to my great-grandparents. In 1999, after having been abandoned for 25 years, my parents José (80) and Anita (70) started to rebuild it. With the birth of our son Matias (3 years), I Gabriela (34- Portuguese) and my husband Adam (38- German), moved into the old part of the house.

Area: Rio de JaneiroWe are a couple with a 3 year old girl living on a rural peaceful sitio in Bicuiba surrounded by a coconut plantation, woodland, meadows and the mountain range towards Rio. We like the easy going of life here. Living here with our dog, wild horses and in the near future sheep and chickens on 20 ha, we can use a helping hand. We like the tranquility of the countryside knowing that shops, restaurants ect. are not that far away. Plenty of opportunities to discover the neighberhood. The sitio is situated in the middle of nowhere but in close proximity (12km) of 2 economic centres: Araruama and Bacaxa, part of the ocean-located Saquarema. A nearby highway (10km) gives easy access to Rio De Janeiro (100km) or Buzios and Cabo Frio (60km).
