Région: Hudson Valley - 2 hrs North of NYCMy husband and I have a 27 acre property in the Hudson Valley, 2 hrs N of NYC. We have five vacation rentals on our property. We also have a good number of animals; 5 horses, a flock of chicken, kittens, cats and 3 large dogs. We have a large vegetable garden and small green house. I am a choreographer and trained architect, my husband is a builder, horseman and hydraulic repairman, but the best description of us is "nature loving hippie artists". We are in need of someone, preferably a couple that would be interested in helping. If you are single person please do contact us as well. We look forward to hearing about you! The work includes, preparing the accommodations, cleaning, cooking breakfast for the guests, organizing pizza parties, showing guests around the farm, gardening and care of the small animals. Where we live is a paradise, beautiful land, quiet and somewhat remote, but close to good restaurants, galleries, stores, etc. We enjoy meeting new people and there are always a steady flow as our vacation rentals and long term renters are all interested in sharing ideas and a bottle of wine by a big bonfire. We have wonderful dinners and often these turn into impromptu parties that go into the night. You will have a lot of fun here!
Région: AquitaineWe are Helen and Larry, an early-retired, young-at-heart couple living in a rural area on the Landes/Gers border. We lead a fairly quiet and simple life, interrupted occasionally by busy family visits from the UK or Ireland. We have three grown up children and 2 grandchildren who live in the UK. We enjoy the tranquility that the nature and countryside offer and like walking especially on the West coast (1.5hrs) or in the Pyrenees.(2hrs)
Région: CaliforniaHello, We are a hostel in San Diego! We are looking for friendly and fun volunteers for housekeeping and reception shifts. If you're an international traveler temporarily in San Diego for 1-3 months and have a plan to continue your onward overseas travel, we would be very happy to meet you. Most of our positions are quickly filled by guests already staying with us, wanting to extend their time in gorgeous, sunny San Diego. But often there arises a need for a few more fun loving, free spirited souls. We offer part time volunteer positions in exchange for your accommodation. Hope to hear from you soon!
Région: CenterWho are we and what is our project all about ? We are Sonja and Joos, and we have a little daughter, Minne, aged 4 years. We are ordinary people who are looking for a pleasant way to make a living off, a new home, a place where our heart is and where we can be happy and at the same time offer other people a relaxed and nice time in between their stressful, hectic everyday life. This we want to achieve by transforming the cave of gnomes, in a real “cave of gnomes”. We want to invite you to explore our site and hope to meet you in the future when you continue your exploration here in a beautiful piece of nature. Joos, Sonja and Minne.
