    Description

    Hello!! And welcome!

We are lucky enough to be the new owners of our beautiful 100 acre block in Geegelup / Bridgetown. This slice of heaven consists of of 20 acres of farming land and 80 acres of native bushland on the Blackwood River.

The 80 acres of bush is a Conservation block under "Nature for Wildlife." It is full of diverse flora and fauna. Redgums, Jarrahs, Wandoo, Banksia's (just to name a few) scattered across very hilly land scattered with quartz and granite. Redtails, Carnaby's, blue wrens, finches, maggies, kangaroos, skinks, quenda's and more! Endless trails for bushwalking, hiking, braving the cold and swimming in the river or throwing your kayak in for a paddle.

The 20 acres of farmland has been well loved by previous owners and is a little bit tired and need of care. It consists of vege gardens, old established orchard trees, varieties of nut trees, a bee garden, rose gardens and old chook pens, sheds, shacks etc: Surrounded by tree's and close to the river it is a beautiful place to set up camp!

Our wonderful property is in need of much love, hands in the soil and a new burst of energy, though it is a truly magical place to rest, restore, be still and step back to appreciate nature.

We are peaceful, content individuals who live a simple holistic lifestyle. We have a very loving doggo who will happily become your best mate! We enjoy connecting with like minded individuals, learning about new cultures and sharing healthy, nutritious meals (all to be grown by us eventually!) We also love our quiet time and our appreciate our space and will respect yours. If this sounds like a match, we are very much looking forward to sharing our piece of land with travellers wanting to contribute and learn as we create a sense of community.

We would be so grateful to have a willing hand with the following ..

    - Maintenance, DIY Jobs & Projects - Pulling down old fences and structures, lending a hand to paint, general tidying up, and if you're really handy we have an old bush shack in need of some love
    - Vege Gardens & Orchards - Irrigating, planting, weeding, composting, re-soiling, watering, pruning, grafting. Would love it if you have knowledge with fruit tree's and orchards!!
    - Gardening - Pruning, whipper snipping, mowing, weeding, slashing, planting, landscaping.
    - Eco projects - Helping to design and build composting toilets, eco showers etc:
    - Art projects - Native Australian Murals, wall art (internal and external) sharing creative skills

In exchange we can offer a basic camp trailer (*Not a caravan* With cooking facilities and a cosy nook to sleep in) or a beautiful glamping style Belle tent with use of our shower and toilet. Self sufficient travellers with caravans, 4wd's ect are very welcome!

Town is 15 mins drive away where all amenities are accessible. (Shops, cafes, petrol, hotels, restaurants, farmers markets) Beautiful walks and local attractions fill the area.
