    >>> PLEASE NOTE !!!!!!!!

We are at the initial CONSTRUCTION/ BUILDING phase of this project, this phase of the project requires applicable building/construction skills . In order to assist us with the "custom build", you must be have previous hands-on experience with such. Precise measurements, angle calculations, precise cuts (of timber), proper power tools utilization, and installation of structural parts, framing, cladding, roofing and finishing. This is a learning experience, as we are able to exchange knowledge and skills, but unable to offer PRACTICE situations. Without previous applicable knowledge and building skills, a volunteer might NOT be satisfied with the work and overall hosting experience.
Transparency and clarity from both host and volunteers are vital to a positive and valuable experience....

    >>>>> WELCOME !!!!

We are welcoming physically and intellectually active volunteers with applicable knowledge & skills in building, construction and carpentry... Volunteers who resonate with our concept/projects are very much encouraged to contact us anytime.

Enjoy Mother Nature... Cultural exchange.... Healthy lifestyle......

Long Point Conservational Area , is natural habitat within the famous Ontario Greenbelt, wetlands and agricultural zoning. We are 1.5hrs from Toronto, and 1.5hr from Niagara Falls, the USA border. This geographical area is refereed as "Ontario's Garden", due to its concentration of greenhouses and field farming of all kinds of fruits, vegetables and flowers.

It will be our pleasure to resonate, accommodate, share, guide and a learn from our future friends. From the great Canadian Outdoors, to our 20 acres of forest (part of the Long Point Conservation area)...
Our Eco Project, focuses on micro-organic farming and outdoor living while offering a display of self-sustainable methods.
WE ARE AT THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE, hence the true need of volunteers with working experience in the areas of:

    >>> Carpentry (timber log house) , custom wood sheds , some Japanese joinery.

    >>> Construction , Framing, Roofing, Plumbing..

    >>> Volunteers capable and willing to assist with hard labour / construction tasks should consider applying.

We are most able to welcome all volunteers (without building experience) after the month of OCTOBER 2020.

Volunteers with experience/ skills will be partially remunerated for your time and effort, so you can add to your continuous travels.
Please feel welcome to read through and learn more about the details of our project, lots of information for clarity and transparency.
We are here to share and assist one another, feel welcome to contact us anytime.
We wish you all the best with your travels.
    Stay safe.
    Cheers!

    PROJECT:
Assist building a simple and eco-friendly Hobby Farm within a Protect Natural Habitat. There will be very little earthworks, minor landscaping, as we wish to keep the forest as intact as possible. We will construct a small cabin, a mid-size cabin, a garage/workshop and a pre-fabricated greenhouse... that's all... and well enough.

    DURATION:
    June 2020 to October 2021
(due to our geographical location, and the work involved, we suggest a volunteer to join us for 1 months.
Depending on our effort and progress, we could consider assisting with part of your expenses, and symbolic remuneration.
Of course, you are welcome to join us for a few weeks too.

    SOME TASKS:

    Phase 1: > ( 4 - 8 weeks)
The landscaping and foundation construction have started and almost completed.

    Phase 2: > ( 20 - 30 weeks)
-We are inviting volunteers with some related skills to help us build the first wood tiny cabin (250sf), Workshop/ Garage (1000sf) , Main Cabin LogHome (960sf), exterior wood deck construction, etc....
    - Wood Decks, kiosks, all made of wood.
    - Raised bed gardens and other fun stuff....

    Phase 3: > ( 8-10 weeks)
Prepare approximately 2 acres for potentially organic cultivation.

We welcome open and transparent communication, and would be able to adapt/accommodate to any need or desire that the volunteer might have during the stay. Please feel welcome to ask any questions before joining us, and during our experience....
We all must feel satisfied, and fulfilled by the activities we do together, so our hearts and minds are truly caring for all members, and vice-versa.
You will very much enjoy the experience if you enjoy nature, outdoors, building and working with positive & down-to-earth people.
A proper balance between working, playing, resting, and discovering our 20 acres, and nearby towns, villages , etc..
We will be more than happy to take you places to visit... sightseeing and all the outdoor activities.
