Myself , my partner, and a friend run a conservation, education and welfare project with a rare breed of pony the small skyrian horse on the beautiful and unspoilt island of Skyros. We are always looking for volunteers who are - experienced with ponies/horses and who are interested in helping to train and care for our herd of very sweet natured, highly intellegent ponies. We also are happy to host people who have hands on experience of animal farm/ smallholding work. We are really looking for volunteers who want to stay three weeks or more as we have found that short stays do not work well with with the ponies or project. If you have experience and love ponies and animals you will really enjoy your stay with us. We are based on a small farm which is near the sea and pine forest, in a traditional Greek area. Hello! My name is Karen and live with my 4 children and my animals (horses, dogs and cats and two cows) in a ranch not far from Passau, which is worldwide known as "The Three Rivers City", in the region called Lower Bavaria, one of the most charming areas of Germany. We are a small, family-run horse farm specialized in the therapeutic field, outdoor (adventure and experiential) education and all that deals with coaching, the horse taking the role of a co-trainer. It is a very variable and interesting work with children and adults. Furthermore, we offer carriage rides and also the (adequate) transportation of horses. If you would like to work with horses, to learn more about them – and about yourself! – then you have found the right place. Sometimes the work can be hard, because of cleaning stables or building, so you should have the right attitude to work ! We look forward to meeting you, no matter if you are rather manually skilled or prefer to take care of the household, garden and/or stable. I am sure that there is something for each one of you! My daughters (18 and 9years old) and sons (aged 13 and 16) will also enjoy your company. We will have you let beeing part of our familiy, to know us and our country by the time you stay with us The region offers very many leisure time activities, e.g. swimming, mountain biking, climbing, canoeing, etc. But of course there is also the possibility to discover our beautiful university town Passau, which is only 15 min away. Munich, the enchanting Bavarian capital, is approx. 160 km away and very easily accessible by train. We offer you full board and accommodation in an apartment with shower and toilet, plenty of fun …and surely an unforgettable stay! You can communicate with us in English, French and – of course – in German. We rely on your honesty, your vitality and strong motivation in supporting an exciting project. We're two adults and two young kids living in Melbourne's inner north. We're up for meeting people from other places and are looking for occasional help with our garden and general household stuff. James is a hydrologist and often working pretty long days, and Nina is a botanist and aspiring ceramicist but right now a full-time mum. We have an enthusiastic and talkative 4 year old girl and our 20 month old son is a typical toddler - learning about the world and getting into any hazards he can find. We have a well-used back-yard in which we try to grow some of our own veggies and create a fun space for the kids to play and learn. We try to live a well-informed and environmentally aware life here in this urban environment and enjoy having a strong community of like-minded households in our neighbourhood. We're very close to a great tramline that will take you down Brunswick St, Fitzroy, and into the city. Our small very local shopping strip (less than 500m away) also has quite a bit to offer - a great cafe, yoga studio, bike shop, locally made gift-wares, hairdresser. And there is a great linear park along a creek about 10 minutes walk away.

We are a small Bed and Breakfast retreat (3 rooms) in the beautiful province of Bocas Del Toro, Panama. On the end of Isla Solarte in the Bahia Honda bay. I have recently acquired the property and want to do a lot of upgrades and maintenance to make this a truly unique and relaxing experience for guests. I have a staff of two persons that help with cooking, cleaning and yard maintenace. A a one year old puppy/dog that helps create more projects for us.
