Description
Hello, this is Stephen here...I live on this wonderful property all year round on my own with my family regularly visiting. There is plenty to do here as we are also currently building a wood fired hot tub and have several other building projects (library restoration, plastering, painting, gardening, etc.) The buildings are dated from the 16th Century onwards and we have a lot of historical literature, artwork & architecture. There is a lovely swimming pool and pool area several barns with heavy machinery for building works, and a vast amount of garden work to do if that is suitable for you. You can pick what type of work feels best for you!

I am a master craftsman builder so plenty of knowledge to gain if you are interested in learning. From renovating, stone wood or even welding. Some of the photographs are from when my daughter and her son were living here from 2012-2015) She now lives nearby and I see them regularly.
Help
The day to day running of the property is fairly key to this placement. As well as some building work and specific projects to do with maintenance. We have all of the equipment and tools for these jobs. Roughly 5 hours a day needed but can be more or less depending on weather and the project in hand. Some help with daily tasks cooking, cleaning, and washing.

What else ...
This area of the Gers is stunningly beautiful and at times reminiscent of Tuscany. There are several very interesting Abbeys and monuments in the area. The wine, Armagnac and Foie Gras in this region is famous and world renowned. The location we are in is very secluded, peaceful with plenty of wonderful walks and day trips to see interesting fortified villages ( we have bikes too!) It is somewhere to enjoy nature, rural French living and life. It would be a gift of time we could give you and in exchange a wonderful help for us!!
