Sheelagh and I (Julie) built our Casa Rural from a ruined farmhouse, very near to Iznajar in Andalucia.....it's been quite a journey. We now have a beautiful place that is fully accessible for any visitors.
We are located on a beautiful 5 acre olive grove nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Sierra Subbética Park with a view “to die for” and are only 5 minutes from Andalucía's largest lake. Sitting on top of the hill above the lake is the beautiful white village of Iznajar (which means Happy Castle) We would welcome two people but I will be absolutely honest here :the accommodation would be a tent with electricity, fridge and full size single beds and a bush shower, we would make it as comfortable as possible. There is a bathroom in the main building (no shower) that you can use. it would be useful if one person was over 25 as you would be able to drive our small van which we use for shopping etc. You can also use the pool when you are not helping. I don't think there will be any opportunity for paid work in the area as you really need to speak spanish for this but you will receive a very warm welcome and lovely food
