Description
My name is Isabella, my husband is Riccardo and we have two children. Bianca which is 11 years old and Maria Antonietta which is 9 years old. My husband works in the touristic sector therefore he travels a lot, I work in SMEs organization.
Bianca is attending secondary school and Maria Antonietta is attending elementary school. Bianca's school is very close to Roman Forum while Maria Antonietta's schools is close to Pantheon, close to my office.Types of help and learning opportunities
Babysitting and creative playCreating/ Cooking family mealsHelp around the houseCultural exchange and learning opportunities
It is an opportunity to get in touch with a new culture, new habits and to visit a wonderful city as Rome.
We live in a very nice area, close to the city center, close to the Metro Station Re di Roma and to the train station Tuscolana. There are bus lines to get to the main historical sites and you can easily reach Colosseum even walking.Projects involving children

Help
We are looking for a young and creative workwayer which can speak English to our two children.
We need someone to pick Bianca up at at 1/ 2.00 pm and then take her or/and Maria Antonietta to sports or other activites they have in the afternoons.
We need someone which play with them and support them in improving their English. Someone which actively push them to speak and help them with writing and reading in English and correct them
We do not want someone who spend time with them being distracted by phone or simply watching TV but actually we would like someone who interact with them.
We expect the workwayer to give some help: small housekeeping that even the girls do, such as setting up the table, cleaning it up and load and unload the dishwasher, helping with the washing machine, getting the garbage down, etc:
little help which make a difference in the day by day routine!!!.
You are not required to clean the house but WEEKLY , you are required to clean carefully your own bedroom and your bathroom (dust the furnitures, vacuum and mope the floor).
Of course the workwayer has to respect home rules: such as keeping your own room clean, taking off shoes when accessing the house, etc
It is not a job I would say that it is an experience to learn about a new culture, a new language and travel a bit, living in an Italian family.
Our ideal workawayer must be:
- clean and tidy
- has basic cooking skills (very basic!)
- not internet/mobile/social/TV addicted (at least, not when she has to spend her time our children
- very talkative and energetic but calm at the same time
- loves playing with children
- interested in being part of our familyLanguages spoken

The workwayer will have a single room and will share the bathroom with the girls. In the room there are Maria Antonietta clothes and toys.
We have just renovated our apartment which is located in an historical building. It is a big living room where you can play, read, and implement any creative activity.
In relation to meals, you can have breakfast with us or later on if we do not need your help in bringing girls to school. We usually have lunch at work/ school so you can cook what you want at home while we usually have dinner all together. What else ...
We think Rome do not need any presentation. There are so many thing to do, to visit, to taste that time is never enough. From our apartment you can walk to the Colosseum. We have a very nice and big park in the neighbourhood "Caffarella" where you practice some sport in the open air.
Public transport is 2 minutes walking from the apartment where you can get a bus 87 which goes to Piazza Venezia, bus 649 which goes to Stazione Termini. 3 minutes walking you can get Metro A and in 10 minutes you are at Piazza di Spagna.
15 minutes waking you are at stazione tuscolana where you can catch trains to Fiumicino or Ostia ( to the beach)A little more information

She is very sweet and helpful, even offering little support with the housekeeping.
Girls were happy to spend time with her and respected her and the rules when she was alone with them.
She used always to say " of course" when plans changed. Always with a sweet smile!
When I asked her to… read more
