We are a family of four, Sue and i (Richard) are in our late forties and we have two daughters, we have been living in the beautiful mountainous area of the Axarquia for four years. Our home is an old 'Cortijo' traditional Spanish farm house set among the olives and almonds. Our Spanish neighbors still work the land and keep dairy goats, there is always something going on on the land. Originally we were from the UK, West London, working in airfield operations and the freight industry. In the mid 90's we moved to West Cornwall and spent 15 wonderful years creating our home starting a family and a business. In our Spanish phase of life we are in the process of learning the language, renovating and developing our home. We love the climate and the ruralness of this part of Spain. We can offer intercultural exchange evenings for those who wish to pursue the language and culture. There are bars and cafes for coffees or a beer. The tapa is good value and tasty too. Malaga is a bus ride away and they run a daily service. We can offer lifts to town as we are often in and out with the girls extra activities..... Accommodation is a detached 'casita' with two single beds, shower, kitchen, t.v. /lounge area and wood burning stove (for cooler evenings). **due to personal circumstances we can no longer accept requests** Thanks to everyone who has helped us so far. Single mum of one doing up a house with help of parents. Also have a garden with mature orchard. Baby is 2 years old. At the moment I am hoping to get as much grown as possible. May and June are always buys months in the garden. I like to cook and do DIY when I get a chance. We get up between 7 & 8 and my daughter goes to bed around 19.30. In between I try to do a few things in the garden or work on the house and my father sometimes comes to do some work in the morning or afternoon. My daughter attends a creche twice a week. Oh yeah I have two dogs and a tomcat. I like to get a bit of exercise in every day. The house water supply is from rainwater, I am into permaculture and like to be eco-conscious as much as possible. I can help people improve their english, give tips in organic horticulture, photography and some areas of DIY.

Come and play music with us! We can introduce you to the local amateur orchestras and invite you to join in with all kinds of (classical) chamber music in our house. I'm a housewife (professional maths tutor, amateur horn-player, violist) with a working son (professional French/German translator, amateur violinist, trombonist) and a schoolboy son all living at home; my eldest daughters live in London and Leeds, and I have 2 children away at university. We are an academic family, who enjoy maths, sciences, languages. We are not very sporty, though I swim most mornings to keep fit.

Claus (43) and I (Martina 42) bought a small house from the early 1800s that once used to be a farm. We are busy renovating the house at the moment. We do not have any animals yet. Our small village has about 100 inhabitants and is located in the beautiful are of Hohenlohe in the southern part of Germany. The famous city of Rothenburg is about 30 min, Heidelberg, Stuttgart, Nuremberg are about 60 min by car from our house. We are surrounded by castels and beautiful landscape, ideal for cycling, swimming in the river, hiking etc. Claus is a rock climbing instructor and cliffs are located near Nuremberg and south of Stuttgart. We are baking our own bread in a traditional wood-fired oven which we especially had build in the kitchen and that also is perfect for pizza and our traditional swabian pizza:-)

We are looking for a person who want a stress-free place, close to nature and who wants to stay with us for more than 2 or 3 weeks. We would like to have someone with us for many weeks (training on our farm takes around 2 weeks). We are located in townships and far from the big cities. We can also host a small family with a child, we will be happy to welcome you in our secure environment for young kids. Farmhouse with large gardens, gardens, rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, cow, cats, dogs. Located with view of Mount Orford in the Eastern Townships, in the countryside, but close to bicycle paths (bring your bike) and tourist centres. You can also recharge your batteries near goose Lake, do a little swimming in our pool and join us for Campfire in the evening. If you are interested to live independently (we produce our electricity), to learn to make bread, butter, cheese, canned and the identification and use of medicinal herbs, our family for 3 generations (girl of 3 years and a half and 9 year old boy and a half) under the same roof will be happy to welcome you. Some of us are smokers and we are not vegetarians. Nous sommes en région rurale et éloignés des grandes villes. Nous pouvons aussi accueillir une petite famille avec un jeune enfant, il nous fera plaisir de vous recevoir dans un environnement sécuritaire pour les petits. Fermette avec grands potagers, jardins, lapins, poules, canards, oies, dindes, vache, chats, chiens. Situé en Estrie avec vue sur le Mont Orford, en campagne, mais près des pistes cyclables (apportez votre vélo) et centres touristiques. Vous pouvez aussi vous ressourcer près du lac des oies, faire une petite baignade dans notre piscine et vous joindre à nous pour un feu de camp en soirée. Si vous êtes intéressés à vivre en autonomie (nous produisons notre électricité), à apprendre à faire le pain, le beurre, le fromage, les conserves et l'identification et l'utilisation des herbes médicinales, notre famille de 3 générations (fillette de 3 ans et demi et garçon de 9 ans et demi) sous le même toit sera heureuse de vous accueillir. Nous sommes fumeurs et acceptons les fumeurs. Nous ne sommes pas végétariens, mais étant autonomes pour la nourriture tous nos animaux et nos cultures sont biologiques.
