Description
Our Eco-village includes an Organic Permaculture Farm, a large Retreat Center which hosts Yoga, Detox and Meditation retreats. We try our best to create a family feeling and provide a congenial environment for yoga & spiritual practice.

Volunteers can learn organic & permaculture farming methods, food processing (seasonal) and how to prepare delicious vegetarian meals. We also teach Yoga, Meditation to those who are interested.
Help
Tasks are varied and depend on the season. Our permaculture farm is a work in progress and we are working hard to become more self sufficient and sustainable. During the winter we grow most of our vegetables and throughout the year we are developing an organic permaculture orchard with over 50 varieties of trees. Help in the farm involves planting, harvesting, mulching, weeding, feeding our dog, making compost, irrigating and cutting grass etc.
We need hard working volunteers who can preferably speak some Chinese and have substantial farming experience. Volunteers with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, building experience are especially welcome.

Accommodation
In 2015 we refurbished the volunteers accommodation with hard wood floors and new bathrooms. There are 2 shared bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with hot water (one for females and one for males). We usually host between 2-3 volunteers in each bedroom and provide sleeping mats, pillows and bedsheets. Please bring your own sleeping bag, if possible. There is also a separate room with open plan kitchenette, bathroom and sitting room with WIFI where volunteers eat their breakfast. All other meals are taken collectively in our retreat center.
What else ...
The activities here are varied and any skill in different fields is welcome. Volunteers can stay for a minimum of 28 days (if possible) and up to several months. There are bicycles for volunteers to use on their days off.

I stayed here for four weeks and it was exactly the kind of place I hoped it would be. The location is beautiful, and the farm grows bananas, coconuts and pineapples amongst other things.
