Relaxing stay in informal setting at Bed & Breakfast in the Tigre Delta
Description
We are a mixed intercultural couple. Carolina is from Argentina and works as an accountant and system consultant. she will be away during the day from monday to friday . Stef is A dutch guy who studied cultural sciences and traveled a lot. He is at home most of the time. We both speak fluently English and Spanish.
The project is a fairly new Bed breakfast in the Tigre Delta. We opened July 2011.
What we need is help both inside and outside the house: with preparing the food, cooking, baking, setting breakfast, doing dishes, cleaning, changing sheets, laundry, bathrooms . Or whatever else you think that needs to be done.
At the garden to cut the lawn, mind the crops (planting, watering, harvesting) and some small construction and repair works.
Own initiative is needed, I do not like to command people. Be creative and a self starter. It is a quiet place most of the time. the paying visitors mostly come during the weekends.
We prefer stays of about a 15 days at least, longer stays are possible and welcomed If we get along very well, there are no other volunteers coming and both enjoy it.
We have WIFI Internet free. There are kayaks to use, and we have many books, most in spanish, but also in english.
We try to be most sustainable possible, so we appreciate you take care do not waste water, recycling as much as possible and take care of consuming the food on time. Some people has nothing to eat,and we are lucky to have so dont put in the bin fruits than can be recovered (for doing jams by example).
Last minute request also welcome. Anybody with the right spirit and mindset is welcome.

Tabea and me had a very interesting week here. It was our first time workawaying, so we had some troubles in the beginning. For example, there were everytime something to be done in this hostel, so we did it and worked 12 hours a day. But as Carolina got to know that, we got a day off and worked less ;). Espacially the last days were really great. more
Joss was a great helper in our place, because she's an experienced woman we didn't need to much to say to her as she was already repairing, cleaning, and ordering around the house.
We felt very comfortable with her positive attitude to carry the tasks and easy going to live with her.
We appreciate a lot her help in the time she has spent in our more

With Stef and Carolina there was always something to enjoy. Good conversations, great food, interesting moments. So peaceful and beautiful and loved to work together. When the family joined over the weekends we felt at home and they treated us like family as well. Great memories.
Jade was a good workawayer, proactive, helpful and very kindly with children, family and guests around the house. His spanish language level is quite good too. He was open to our requests and very respectful guy. He helped us a lot from the first day. Thanks a lot for coming to our place!
This place is great and I was immediately welcome as if I was family when I arrived! In the first few days of being there I got dress up like Santa Claus for the family, I received christmas gifts and ate great food everyday! Lovely and loving people, in a beautiful place! I had a spectacular time there! This was my first workaway experience and more
These folks are amazing. They are really interested in making new friends and inviting you into their lives. The house is a prison paradise. There are no streets and no were to go, but the quiet beauty and kayaking on the river was exactly what i needed. i saw no cars and didn't put my shoes on for a week. Two great dogs, as a bonus.
