Area: Southeast USA, (Central Tennessee, time is GMT -6) Our volunteers have taken trips to Nashville, Memphis (Elvis), Knoxville, Atlanta while here. Between local transit and Megabus you can visit many places if you desire. We live on a beautiful river. Most enjoy the rural tranquility and peace of the location, but some find it more quiet than they would prefer. You should google-earth our location. We are a well traveled family on the Tennessee River. We have had visitors from all over the world. We usually have several projects, some very interesting, some mundane to make this a better place for ourselves and travelers. We are looking for people, 1 or 2 at a time, who want to work here and enjoy the peaceful rural river life. We take a proactive role in correcting your English grammar and word choice, during daily conversation, for those that want English improvement.

Area: Negev desertWe are a Jewish family living in the small artist's village of Ezuz in the beautiful Negev desert heights. Our home is full of activity with our 9th child on the way in August and many guests from Israel and around the world passing by. I am originally South African and my husband Israeli. We both backpacked many years around the world and met during our travels when we were working as scuba diving instructors in the Sinai. Our favorite part of travelling was meeting people, so when we settled down we recycled 3 old buses into deluxe guestrooms and created a family hospitality business. Part of the help we need is to clean and prepare the guestrooms. In the near future we hope to plant an organic vineyard and make wine. Our garden has vines and fruit trees that grow on recycled water from our home and guestrooms and we have a natural pool for cooling down on hot summer days.
