Area: La LibertadOur school is a project under a Swedish NPO in Trujillo, Peru. Education is important for everyone. Therefore, we offer our children free education through activity to enable them to have a better today and future. It is one of the most important means of empowering our children with the knowledge, skills and self-confidence necessary to participate fully in the development process of our world. Huanchaco is a beautiful surf district North of Peru with a great vibe. Just a couple of minutes up to the mountain behind the church in Huanchaco is a little community named Cerrito De La Virgen. The area is a very low income district with no running water or electricity in most houses. Some of the kids do not go to school because of their private situations. For our school to be present in this area the kids are more than excited to come over and have fun with us a couple of days a week. We are a new organization that opened on the 14 january 2013. Today we offer 4 schooldays a week - Mondays and Wednesdays 4pm to 6 pm. - Tuesdays and Thursdays in the morning 10 am to 11 am The classes are english, arts and crafts and whatever skills classes the volunteers come with. Area: NegevIn the heart of the Negev highlands in Israel, near the rim of the Ramon Crater is our farm, one of few in the world where you can see a herd of beautiful llamas and alpacas, originally from South America. The farm combines agriculture with tourism; we farm the alpacas mainly for their wool and many visitors (families, school groups etc) come to see and learn about these fascinating animals. We offer B&B accommodation, leadership courses, horse riding etc.
