Historic Estate in Southern Scotland's, Galloway Forest Park.
We're in need of immediate help! Can you come soon, very soon?
Tidy up the gardens, logging and helping with building repairs.
Cleaning, painting and preparing for the season ahead.
All skills (indoors and outdoors).
We ask that you work a minimum of 6 hours a day with 1 or 2 days off. Flexibility needed.
Sociable, good workers and a good sense of humor is essential to fit in. Whether coming alone or as a couple or friends. You must be fit and healthy.
In return you will be appreciated! Good accommodation on the estate and great home cooking free of charge.
Tasks can include decorating, gardening, regenerating woodland, housekeeping, building projects. All building, renovating skills very welcome.
A couple would be welcome too.
To feel at home you will love a country side environment.
A car and drivers license would be an advantage alternatively we can drop you off at the village train station for days out on your days off. These post are subject to availability and we do not take pets.
Getting here. Nearest airports are Glasgow Prestwick or Glasgow International. From both airports are train links to our village where we will collect you on arrival.

My first experience, and it was a great one. Adrian and Caroline are very welcoming and nice hosts and i got on with them brilliantly, the month just flew by!
Accomodation is great and the surroundings are wonderful, its really remote and there is wildlife everywhere!
The foods good too (thanks Caroline :D) and Adrian knows basically every trade more

Amazing property with fantastic hosts! We could not have asked for a better first workaway experience. We felt right at home & enjoyed lots of laughs (Adrian is a cracker!), delicious home cooking (thank you Caroline), very comfortable accomodation, varied work tasks and great company. Black Clauchrie is an absolutely beautiful estate - the main house and cottages are so lovely to live in and the grounds are so fun to explore! Caroline, Adrian and little Georgie gave us a wonderful time there, we had many evenings sitting up chatting and laughing and I will say that the home cooked meals were absolutely delicious :) In return more
This is an absolutely astonishing place – the house, gardens and surroundings are breathtaking and it’s quite remote from any civilization, so you can truly feel like you are on a dreamlike island in the middle of nowhere.
