Area: Chiang MaiA cooperation between two Thai women who have the similar skills and one has a small hostel and Art Studio where needs some guests to stay and do some arts. Pui and I, A, we met two years ago. After we hanged out many times, we found out that we have the same idea about home-stay and tours; especially we both like arts. We love the same thing as a local Thai stuff and like to adapt or modify anything to become arts. Because of Pui has a property which is a good location for home-stay business. She likes to spend her time for drawing and painting at her farm because of the peace most of the time is provided. So, she built her six bungalows in northern style out there few years ago and still decorating on till now. Then, we discussed about what we could offer our guests from what we have now as much as we could. Normally, I run a tour business in Chiang Mai city. Why not I bring her guests? We are agreed to work together since then, and came up with the main theme is “Art” while educate guests about living in the Northern Thai ways of life by doing many activities in the farm and acknowledge by the villagers, sometimes. Respectfully to our Thai culture is very needed from our volunteers. How to get there? You can take a taxi from the airport and tell your driver to go to Warorot Market (กาดหลวง). Then you take a yellow taxi at the market which is by the Ping River. Taxi's sign in the front will say Mae Rim (แม่ริม) or you cal also take another one (white taxi) says Mae Tang(แม่แตง). Before you get on the taxi, give Pui a call (displayed number) and let she tells your driver to drop you off then she will pick you up on the main road to Mae Tang. The price will be 20 B/person. Call Pui when you arrive, if she is in town she will pick you up.
