We are a couple about 55anni (Claudio and Mariassunta) and live in a nice house (renovated in 2001) of the Tuscan countryside surrounded by woodland and a large garden.
We live with Mary, a grandmother of 84 years and we are in Siena (about 26km).
We have 3 children (33-34-35 years) and 4 nephews (2-8-9-9 years) who do not live with us but we often come to visit.
We try to live with respect environment and people, love animals and believe in friendship between the peoples in solidarity.
We are experienced in hospitality: we hosted when our childrens were kids intercultural teenage children and now we are travelers and guests too
We believe the exchange between people of different cultures and these experiences have always enriched: in fact we have friends all over the world.
Our interests are:art, architecture, reading, nature walks, traveling, music (classical, jazz), politics, family life.
At the moment we need help to do some work in the garden, in the woods, with animals (we have some chickens and a horse), replace the wood for winter and stay a little with grandmother Mary, who is still in helth but often very lonely because we are away on business for many hours, and a little help in the homework.
Our house is a portion of a farmhouse in a beautiful and very quiet situation about 500mt from the village of Tocchi where the bus comes to Siena. On Sunday there are no public transports but Claudio is often at work on Sunday and we could put agreement in case of need.
On the ground floor of our house we have a small apartment that we rent or use to host, if it is free, otherwise we have a room in our apartment.
Of course we offer room and board and full participation in our daily life.
We speak Italian, English, French a little bit less but we understand and we know that in full-immercion among people who want to meet and collaborate, there are no language problems ...

Work possible in the skills and abilities:
gardening (maintenance and planting of new plants)
forest (cleaning and maintenance of trails, planting of wood cut)
horse (cleaning - maintenance of the stable / fence check food and water and, if experienced, riding)
chickens (check availability of food and water)
various domestic help as needed and enable it our casu
company to grandmother presence in case of need

Our house can be a good starting point to visit Tuscany (Siena 26km, about 90 km Florence, about 50Km Grosseto, Arezzo about70km)
We are in a natural reserve of the Farma and Merse, rivers clean and swimming, with many wild animals. Good for traking, horse riding and cycling.
