Venez aider une grande dame d'un certain âge à son domicile, au Nord du Pays de Galles
Description
I'm placing the ad on behalf of my 85yr old mother. She's intelligent, cheerful, and has a dry sense of humour, despite her mobility problems. Until very recently she liked to go out to the theatre, cinema, restaurants and also loves playing whist. She still goes out, but at the moment, she is recovering from a second chest infection and doesn't have so much stamina. She has been involved with education and charity all her life and in 2006 was awarded an MBE by the Queen, for her services. My mother's independent and has quite a lot of support to meet her current needs. She has a cleaner twice a week and helpers come in at twice a day to help for an hour in the morning and evening. My brother lives close by and I live in London. and apart from just a little daily help, would like an honest, easy going, warm and friendly person living in, just so she isn't in the house alone overnight. She would feel more comfortable with a female workawayer.

Travail
My mother has osteoporosis and breathing problems and therefore has some limited mobility. However, she can walk with her walking aid.
She needs a little help around the house some days. Light housework such as vacuuming, hanging out washing, ironing, putting away a food delivery or emptying the dishwasher. Preparing a light meal three or four times a week and running the occasional errand. Driving would be an advantage, as her car would be available, but it's certainly not essential.
All food would be provided, all bills paid and other expenses would be reimbursed. It would not be necessary to stay at the house seven nights per week, but a minimum of five would be preferred, mainly just for the reassurance of having someone in the house overnight.

Logement
The house is a 3 bed bungalow. You would have a double bed, with large wardrobe and plenty of storage space. There is a large kitchen dining room, two reception rooms (both with TV and Sky/Freeview), a large bathroom with shower and a separate utility room. There's a lovely garden too. Fast internet/WIFI throughout the house.
Autres choses...
The house 15 minutes from the famous Tudor city of Chester, in a beautiful village called Hawarden in the corner or North East Wales. North Wales has some of the most stunning countryside in Britain. Beautiful beaches, many castles and mountain ranges within Snowdonia national park. It is very close to Manchester and Liverpool. Chester is only 2 hours from London by train. Plentiful buses (one from outside the front door!) and a good train service.
It would be perfectly possible to have other part time work during the stay.

I stayed for two weeks in March at Elizabeth' and helped her in the house. There wasn't a lot of work to do, just preparing meals, making cup of teas and helping her if she couldn't find something. We often had a walk and sometimes even went to pubs!

We had a great time with Elizabeth in Wales!! We spent a week with her now in February, and we found her to be a good-humored, interesting woman with lots of stories to tell, very nice and always worried about us being warm and comfortable at home. Also, her family is very nice, we got lots of help from her son to explore the area around, which is more
Two wonderful young women. My mother loved their company and their kindness.
Best of luck in the future Cass & Sil!

I did stay for 12 Days. I helped Mrs. Jones with the Everyday life stuff (cooking, shopping, ...). She is a very generous, helpful, charming Lady as her hole Family is. I enjoyed to stay there and can highly recommend for everyone who is looking for an anti-adventurous trip, and a quiet and calm place.
Chester is not far and very good for more
