Come stay with me an ex head chef and kitchen manager of the Hilton, dive master, and owner of a backpacker's hostel and restaurant, and owner of a scooter rental in Labuan. I have been working in the tourist industry successfully for 30 years and can teach you the trade if your a student of tourism, or interested to learn to cook professionally.

I'm looking for young people between 18 and 27 to come help promote my new backpackers hostel. In exchange I'll provide free accommodation in the dorms, I'll teach how to cook and run a hostel and I'll give you a scooter to use to explore the island during the day. Also my boats are on the way from Kota Kinabalu and when they get here I will also be able to teach you to ride a speed boat and we can go on dives together using them. I'm willing to be flexible and teach whatever it is you want to learn from me but in exchange you must stay at least a week. I will be needing help for a long time so you can stay for as long as you visa allows and the more people I have the more new projects I can start so don't hesitate to contact me if your traveling in a large group.

The town is a great place for drinking and clubing because it is designated a duty free island and its therefore very cheap. I'm fairly busy during the day but we can go out and gets something to eat and a drink at night time and I can show you the good places to eat.

Federal District of Labuan

In the coming days I'm looking to include more project along with my backpackers and my scooter rental. This includes a scuba diving boat service and possibly and dive rental shop, tourist transport to the neighboring islands around and to build a home-stay in the water village near the town. So you may also be asked to ride a boat, log people into the hostel, help on a building project, if you have it skills promoting promoting my hostel on the internet, or help get the scooters warmed up in the morning. Though there is a lot of freedom to choose what you wish to work on as long as you are working.
