Area: CataloniaWe are a family of 4 consisting off 2 young children (Ralph 4 & Pippa 3). We moved to Spain to live off grid within peace & tranquility of the Spanish mountains. We collect water from mountain spring & also have a well, we have no electricity just power from the sun. We have almond, olive & carab trees. We want to add more fruit trees to our land as we would eventually like to become totally self sufficient. I have done a small veg patch this year. We have a outside shower that we use all year round but if the weather isn't good then we do occasionally have to strip wash but that comes with this lifestyle and we don't mind doing this. We are un-schooling our children. We can collect or meet people at the airport/train station/bus station, in the town or arrange a spot to meet or collect you. We are a fun loving, adventurous family & also enjoy trying new things. We enjoy meeting new people & sharing ideas. Never too much work ; ) Smaller stays are better for us as we also enjoy to travel & explore new countries & places.
Area: IndiaThis is a different type of Workaway post. I am looking to host a workawayer to travel to various destinations and help me with some cool projects! (No manual labor, no dishwashing, no dirty stuff!) I've been traveling for too long. I love it but I found that I was missing something. So I am starting up various cool projects to travel and perhaps make an impact in the world. These projects are borderline travel blogging but with a twist. Travel blogs are informative and enjoyable but to me they all sound the same. So I am looking to create content that shows the everyday aspect of life from all over the world. Simply put, it's a mix of National Geographic documentary + travel blog. Sounds interesting? Read on! A South Korean from Gangnam, I always tell people I meet that I'm from North Korea. People either run away, act as if they're not surprised or simply don't understand what it means to be from North Korea. I'm 29 years old and quit my overworked job last year to travel. Now travel is a full time occupation. Wanting to become one of those cool people that travel, take photos, write and become famous on the internet, I've set out on that journey myself. Now I'm starting various projects to do stuff all over the world! All projects consist of creating content online for people to enjoy. Basically I am creating experiences to share with the world. 1. Project Photo, OK? We meet tons of people when we travel. Crazy people, to fun people, to even fellow tourists. Everybody has a story and everybody has a face. People of the world love to gossip and hear of stories of fellow humans around the world. So, I'll go up to random people and say "Photo, OK?" and take their photo! -taking photos of everyone I meet on the road, and conducting a short interview, creating a video documentary of the process, uploading contents in a fun way to various blogs, etc. 2. Project Cool Little Things this project is quite difficult. buy unique and cool items from a certain place and sell in another. sounds easy but this has to be done in an artful way. can be sold on the street, online, to shop owners etc. finding the cool unique items can be difficult at first! 3. Project Whatever anything is a project. all it needs to be is well produced, well written, and placed on the internet medium for people to enjoy. ***If you've read until now, you're clearly interested. Just shoot me a short email and ask more about the details!

Area: United StatesI am a Professional Counselor, Life Coach, and Consultant located in Columbia, Missouri. I have been developing a small urban homestead in the last year. I am experimenting sustainable living practices at my home to better teach others. My home is near downtown and I am very connected to this community. I prefer a volunteer who has a strong interest or some experience with sustainable practices. Permaculture enthusiast a bonus! I'm typically at the office 11ish to 7ish Mon-Thurs, like a quiet home by midnight at the latest and like to sleep in most days. Friday-Sunday I'm free to do bigger home projects. I have liberal views, conservative with resources, supportive in nature, and a hard work ethic. Whether it's with my counseling co-op or at home, I don't think in hierarchical terms with me as the boss but having an organizer role in a team effort. With that said, I'm highly invested in my time and space so I will assert my preferences. :)
