We are an English couple that have moved to live in Bulgaria. we are situated in central Bulgaria, in a village called slavyanovo, which is 7km to popovo, and 35km to targovishte. We live in a village with beautiful views and the village is very peaceful and family orientated. We have a 7 year old girl, who loves being here. she is learning the language, and attends full-time Bulgarian school,and the neighbors and villagers love her. We have a large house, which we are slowly renovating, but have a double bedroom with ensuite tiolet and shower, to offer our guests.The guest house is renovated and very comfortable. We also have a large barn which we have two large rooms which we use as a gym. we are in the process of refurbishing the house and barn. The gym is opened to the public, as a small business. We are not only looking for skilled workers and builders of all kinds to help us to finish the house, but also people who are willing to just give us a hand with the gardening and general up keep. In the spring months, we get our garden ready, full with vegetables and fruit plants and trees. And of course add a splash of colour with the Flowers. We start the season as soon as the snow has gone, and the weather is warm enough for the seeds to germinate, usually around March. We have 16 chickens, some of which we hatched out in the summer of 2011. Which was wonderful to see, we will more than likely hatch more this year. We have also just bought an 8000m2 plot of land, that we have plans to build a lake, make a nature reserve, and it has a stream. We want to do a natural tiolet, natural living areas, etc. And would love help with this too. we are looking for any one really who will just help us out, for this you will work 5 days of the week, and we will give you in return food and board for free. Me and my daughter are vegetarians, and my daughter has been brought up not eating meat, (I have not eaten meat for over 8 years) but my partner does eat meat. So every night I cook meat and vegetarian meals. so everybody will fit in. We also have a villa which is completed and we rent out, to tourists, looking to buy property here. When we do not have guests we spend time at the villa relaxing in the pool and enjoying the peace. You can see pictures of the villa and pool under our photos section. Guests are welcome to come and stay for as long as they are comfortable with. If the guest house is full then you are welcome to bring a tent and camp in the garden, during summer months, or use our caravan on our land. please contact us with any questions you may have.

Our farm consists of 90 head of cattle - calving is getting close to completed. We have 7 riding horses and 2 ponies (both ponies are needing harness work). The rest of the barnyard population is made up of chickens, ducks, cats, 5 dogs, rabbits, lambs, peacocks and of course our llama Sparky and our two pot belly pigs, Wilbur and Louie. Our farm has been hosting visitors since 2004. We are a family of 4 (daughters ages - 16 and 13yrs) and we encourage our helpers to become a part of our everyday life.

I am Judith, married with 4 children ages 21 girl in university, 16 girl in high school/ 13 boy in high school and my last son is 11 yrs in class 6 .I have a graduate degree in Biblical studies and Theology. About the school : Our school education center offers primary school to High School. It is a community-run school providing secondary education, elementary and Primary education to orphans and other children from disadvantaged backgrounds. We have over 150 pupils and students, both girls and boys, aged between 2yrs and 17. We are located in Kitale Municipalities near Kipsongo Slums of Kitale town 2km from the town center. The school is run on Christian principles, and accepts children regardless of their religion, tribe, ethnicity or political background. Some students come from the nearby slums, while others come from the rural areas, with others living at the center Trans Nzoia district is home to thousands of orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children due to high rate of HIV/AIDS prevalence, unending violent tribal clashes, absolute poverty and lack of knowledge about children’s rights. There are many internally displaced and landless families, unaccompanied and neglected children. Solution The children’s home will be a solace to these orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children. The plan is to get abandoned, orphaned and vulnerable children below five years and provide them with shelter, food, education and training until they reach the age of eighteen years. The home targets to support one hundred children at one time. The children will be accommodated in five houses and attend school in the neighborhoods. We offer them a home with 80 orphaned vulnerable children living at our center. We have a school that caters for their educations needs. We help 150 access education with 70 on home based care program. We also have a community outreach program to help vulnerable widows who are living with H.I.V/AIDS. We are training them on entrepreneurship to economically empower them to help provide food for their children.

Marburg is a city with a beautiful mui largest university and many students and there coursos language. I (39) and son (6 years) live in an old mill with some animals (horses, dogs, cats, galinas, etc.). We would be happy to have help at home, outside in the garden or with animals. A small organic farm, that is run by two women. We grow crops on 10 hectares land. The crops are onions, carrots, pumpkins for seed and flowers for seed and luzerne. We have a few very attaching cats and wonderful chicken that wander around the garden. We have a farmgarden with fruit- and nut trees and they are housing a lot of birds. The view is wide and sunsets are magnificant here. The farm is situated in an agricultural environment. Our aim is to live, use and make a living on this bit of paradise while respecting the land around us. We prefer to have a simple lifestyle. We’re interested in sharing our insights – and learning more from people that come into our lives. We believe that respectful food growing/collecting is nourishing for the soul and body. We want to live in harmony with the beautiful mother earth that is providing us with everything we need. The work we can offer is mostly weeding and work in the (kitchen)garden. We ask about 25 hours work a week in 5 days in exchange of board and lodging. We prefer a minimum stay of 2 weeks. We provide healthy, organic and vergetarian food. We prefer non-smokers. Smoking only at permitted places.
