The Astrological garden is maturing and the house is -as always- still a place full of visitors from around the globe, sharing experiences and celebrating life.
Ask for our You Tube video that gives you a snippet of life here. However, work-wise we have arrived at a point in which we could do with people with real building and/or woodwork and/or paving experience.
If you would like to experience spending some time here as a paying guest then that is possible too.
You'll find yourself in the centre of a beautiful English village with people from many different nationalities; with pubs dating back to 1452, a film society, a music festival, organic shops, biodynamic farms and college. The village is also a Transition Town: a beautiful example of caring for the environment-as-a-whole-community. And that all within only 50 minutes by train from London.

This was my first workaway experience and it could not have been better. Mieke is full of boundless energy and it radiates through the home. The garden project is an incredible feat and the work is fulfilling. I constructed, with the help of Phillip, my first log store while there.
