We´re always looking for nice workawayers to come and help in the garden and with other projects we have going on. We´re a family of 3 (Me and my 2 kids) but there are quite often other Workawayers around. We 5 km from great beaches and 4km from a typical Spanish village . Couples are welcome too.

Region: Alpujarra, Sierra Nevada, Granda, Andalucia, Spain

An established retreat centre offering Yoga courses in one of the most enchanting regions in Andalucia surrounded by the wilderness of the Sierra Nevada and only half an hour by car from the Mediterranean. This is an excellent work exchange opportunity for people with a keen interest in yoga and who would enjoy listening to guests without needing to be the centre of attention. Work at the retreat is done in the spirit of karma yoga and this includes everyone, management included.

Region: Namsos

We need a volunteer NOW! We bought a horse and a shetland pony that we have to collect before the 1st of July. Due to a cancellation we now have only one volunteer. Who would like to help us put together the horsestables? They are prefab, so no special skills required. Please ring or email if you are interested! We (Esther, 34 and Palli, 37) live on a farm in Bangsund (near Namsos, 180 km North of Trondheim). The farm consist of 85 ha ground, mostly forest and grassfields. We have 2 cats but no other animals. Previously, the farm was a shipyard and the main house dates from 1850 (see pictures). We both have full time jobs as doctors in the nearby hospital. We recently had a baby and Esther is therefore at home untill August 2010. After that, we will both be working during the days. We love to have visitors and are looking for 1 or 2 persons (couple?) to help us out. We expect you to work 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. We offer a room and 3 meals a day. You can also use our wireless adls internet, skype, 2 mountainbikes, small boat with motor to go onto the fjords, fishing and sports equipment. We enjoy going on weekend tours and here is the old motto the more the merrier! Please contact us when you are in the area. We are looking forward to your visit!
