We live in Malaga province, just north of Antequera which is a stunning location and within easy reach of all the main Andalucian cities. Myself and my husband run an adventure sports company, as well as my husband having a building company and doing cultural tours. I make kids novelty cakes as well as teach English, so you must be child friendly as you often get roped in to helping with the classes. Life is always hectic as we have a 6yr old boy, dogs everywhere and 2 cats!!! Normally, you will have your own room and a shared bathroom and food in included. How you could help us?, well anything goes from building, child care, dealing with customers, you name it I am sure we have it!! We have a large house or if a little more privacy was required, when not in use a caravan.
Type of work
Help with Computers / internet,
Helping with Tourists,
Help in the house,
Cooking / shopping,
Babysitting / child care,
Basically anything goes, no 2 days are the same!
English and Spanish
Spare room and caravan.
What else ...
Hi there to all,
Having now had our fair share of workawayers through the house, I think I should add a few more bits of information to help you decide if you would like to come and stay!!!!
We are meat eaters and you will be asked to cook meat, so if this does not appeal, please do not enquire!!
We have dogs and cats, so if allergic, probably not the best place to come!!
There are ALWAYS children around so if you are not child friendly, stay clear!!!!!!!!!!
Basically if you are chatty, outgoing, not shy of some hard work and have a good sense of humour, we would love to have you to stay. You will always have time off to explore and are always included in anything we have going on, if possible, such as trips to Granada, Seville, Cordoba and such like.
We only have 1 room free for workawayers at present, so if there are 2 of you travelling, please specify if you are a couple or just friends!
Hopefully speak to you soon. :)

After having had a couple of rather disastrous workawayers , Dylan and Jess where an absolute breath of fresh air.
They are a really delightful couple and slotted into the household with ease. Nothing was too much hassle and every challenge given, undertaken with a sense of humor. Dylan was tasked to help out Rob with the building work and more

Well, after a horrid start to the workaway program elsewhere in Europe we made our way to Spain to live with the Greville clan and what a fantastic family!!
Not only did they go the distance to make us a part of their family but they did everything, and more, that could be asked of a host family when it came to getting us out to see more
Stuart was a lovely lad and so helpful. He worked brilliantly alongside my husband helping with the building work. No task was too small. He is also a very good cleaner which was a pleasent surprise for a young man!!! He is charming and can hold his own in any conversation with a lot of wit in English and Spanish.
I do hope we haven't put you more

Mary and Jake were fantastic. They slotted into life here with ease and I think Jake became more of a kid than Ben at times, playing games. Not sure who is the biggest Wii fan!! They had the patience of saints and even managed to get Ben riding his bike. They are both very friendly, fun to be around and no job was to daunting. Mary was excellent more

We had an excellent time at Caroline and Rob's home in southern Spain. We were assigned a wide variety of tasks, from cleaning the pantry to rendering a stone wall. The work was easy, but it wasn't for the feint of heart. Ben was the highlight of our trip. He is such a great kid and very fun to be around. He is very good at Wii and will give you a more

Rob and Caroline were amazing to work for and live with. From the moment I arrived they were welcoming and accommodating, making a new traveler feel at home and comfortable. Ben is a joy to be around and I truly miss spending time with the little monkey. The living conditions are exceptional and Caroline's cooking is so good she should be charging more
Steve was an absolute pleasure to have around. He fitted in from the moment he arrived and nothing was too much trouble. He is excellent with clients and children alike, with nobody feeling left out or inadequate. He is also extremely patient and will thrive in any role were personal skills come into play. We loved having him here and only more

Should anyone have an enquiry from Lara, then please answer immediately. She is fantastic. It was an absolute pleasure to have her here with us. Works like a trogan, smiles all day and mucks in with anything going. She is also a natural with kids and Ben our 5 yr old, was very sad to see her leave (as were we).

Where to start! Caroline Rob and young Benjamin were an absolute pleasure to work for and stay with. They are extremely welcoming, hospitable and down to earth. My time spent with them included not just work, but lots of fun and I definitely felt like part of the family. Rob is always keen to share his excellent knowledge on the area, and the more
I have just noticed that I had neglected to give Sam her feedback. I am so sorry Sam as you were fantastic.
Sam is a delight to have around, always with a smile and a joke. She is extremely capable and ready to tackle any task asked of her. A keen cook and although she doesn't eat red meat is more than happy to prepare and cook it.
We had some more

An excellent start to our Workaway experience. A family that will do all in their power to ensure that you feel comfortable and are taken care of in your stay with them. More than happy to share ideas and wisdom on the area and to assist you with your travels. The village is quaint, beautiful, and peaceful. Once again, a fantastic experience more
If I could give anyone of our workawayers that have come through our house a gold medal, these guys would have it. They are an utterly delightful couple. I could spend the next 20 lines effervesing about them but will keep it short and say to all you hosts looking somebody to come and help, you would be missing out if you didn't have these two more
Great guy, great fun, a pleasure to know. Even thou Rich was only with us for a couple of weeks, he slotted in with ease to the spanish way of life and our family chaos. He could turn his hand to all of the work we threw at him and always had a smile on his face. Hope you have a great adventure on your travels hon and keep in touch. Would be more

We cannot thank him enough for his hard work and the wonderful way that he looked after our 5yr old son Ben. If you need somebody to look after you child/children, I cannot recommend Toby more. He is patient, fun to be around and all the kids here from English to Spanish adored him. He helped me out teaching English at our local guarderia more

What to say!! Caroline,Rob,Ben and of course the dogs are huge fun!! This really is a home, place and workaway you should go to without question. They are all fantastic people and you really do feel part of the family and are welcomed with so much affection. I am very lucky to have met them and maybe luckier still that i can go back and see them as more
What can I say about this lovely man, except when are you comming back!!!! Andy is a gift to have around, utterly reliable and we had no concerns at all about leaving him to get on by himself. Takes the initiative where needed and is a real benefit to whatever project you might have in mind. He slotted into our chaotic family life with ease and more

Caroline and Rob make you feel welcome from the word go, they are extremely hospitable and go out their way to help you get the most out of your stay.
The work is varied and not too taxing (if playing on the Wii can be considered work!) and your time off can be spent relaxing or you can join in with tours of the local areas, quad biking and more
Chris is a great guy to have around. He can turn his hand to most jobs thrown at him and always has a smile on his face. He will make a fantastic teacher when the time comes and would be a benefit to any school.
The best of luck to you on your adventures hon and remember to drop in if passing, would be great to hear about your travels so far, or more

Such a fun and spoiling family! Caroline and Rob are such great host making you feel right at home. Plus a cute 5 year old boy that loves to beat you at wii isn't half bad either. Ann is absolutley fantastic. So capable and such fun to have around. She got the hang of my 5yr old in no time at all. If you are looking for somebody that works hard, can turn her hand to pretty much anything or is not afraid to try then look NO FURTHER. She is a hard act to follow for the other workawayers!!!! Welcome here any time and with more
