A community development volunteer organization based in the Volta Region of Ghana, West Africa. VAF is built around the fundamental belief that each and every person, in each and every corner of the globe, has the right to social advancement through education, knowledge and empowerment and believes this is a service owed to humanity.

Our aims and objectives are:

o To impact the lives of fellow human beings by working in unison to teach, give and learn interchangeable skills and to leave footprints for those to follow in the future.

o To educate communities, both urban and rural, and implement preventative-based education strategies targeting general first aid and the plethora of other deadly health issues.

o To give hope my utilizing and committing resources to the development and support of local communities and in-need individuals.

o To educate and support the future leaders of Ghana through nurturing within the school environment, encouragement in the sphere of society and empowerment through knowledge.

With a local host family who will cook and prepare your meals for you.

All program fees are inclusive of accommodation with a local Ghanaian family, food – three meals a day supplied by the host family, airport pickup and transfer, and a small contribution to the continuity and future projects.

The specifics listed in the program fee are all flexible and can be altered to suit your needs and preferences. Special food diets are not problematic; all you need to do is contact us.
