Hi,

I'm Ciara and my husband is Anthony. We live in the beautiful Gers in the south-west of France with our three children of 8, 5 and nearly 4. Anthony and I both run our own businesses - Anthony is a plumbing and heating engineer and I am an upholsterer and bespoke furniture maker. I work from a workshop near home so am local for the majority of the day whilst Anthony tends to work long hours. We are a fairly easy going English family, with a good sense of humour. All the children are at school and are bilingual with French and English and the adults can get by.

We have a large renovation project which ideally we would like to move into at some point. We have realised however that to achieve our dream we need some help..... Skilled tradesmen would be ideal but we also would like people to help in the garden and with decorating. Painting interiors and shutters and windows etc. If you would like to join us please contact me!

We have a need for help in both properties. For where we are living now we have a need for help with the cleaning and ironing, gardening, painting both inside and shutters / doors / windows on the outside and potentially general maintenance although there is probably not too much of this.

I would like some help around the house / ironing / cooking / childcare as with everything going on I find it difficult to keep up with all the everyday jobs. I would also like to get our veg patch up and running again which we have had to drop over the last couple of years due to lack of time.

For our renovation project we need help in every aspect but the garden will also be a big factor to get on top of . We would need someone fit and healthy. We are both very hands on with the project and have completed the renovations so far between us so really any help but particularly skilled help would be appreciated. Attention to detail is required.

English and some French

You will be provided with a double room with shared bathroom so couples are obviously welcome and encouraged. We also have plenty of land so if you would prefer to camp / sleep in a hammock you are very welcome to do that.

There are lots of beautiful places to visit in the area, and in the summer the outdoor pools and swimming lakes are open all day everyday. The surrounding villages and towns host lots of markets (both day and night) and fetes.
