Area: Languedoc RoussillonWe are Patt and Alan Baxter. We have a large property in Prats de Mollo, a beautiful Catalan village in the French Pyrenees, fifteen minutes from the border with Spain. We have eleven apartments available to let to tourists, 'curists' (people who come for treatments at La Preste a famous spa seven kilometers away) and pottery students. Alan is a potter. We have a workshop and gallery where we run courses and exhibit. Please ask for our websites. We moved here from the UK to France in 2003. There was a lot of work to be done renovating the property while we continued to let its eleven apartments during this period. The pottery workshop was a new build into one of the large garage spaces. This was completed and opened late in 2006. We run local courses on Thursday afternoons throughout the year and accept bookings for longer courses, these can be from anywhere.
Area: GaliciaLAST MINUTE: April and May/June: preferably Italians. June-August preferably English native speakers. Open, however, to all your suggestions! Hello! Hola! Ciao! Salut! I'm a half English, half Spanish 29 year-old. I live in a house in the countryside very near all facilities and best of all: great beaches. I run a language school in a small town, with students between the ages of 3 and adults. We organise language courses, activities (especially sport and art) for children, storytellings, etc. At home, I have two dogs and have recently started a small vegetable and herb garden. I really like meeting new people, learning and practising languages (right now I am concentrating on Italian and French) and singing! Also sports and going to the beach, and more, just ask! My area is very near the beach and mountain, and does not get too hot in summer! Everything is close enough to be able to walk to the school, the beach, etc or cycle.
