Help on a Normandy Dairy Farm and B&B
Description
Hi, we're French/English couple Stephane and Kate and we're looking for a couple of strong guys who can help with various tasks around our farm. These will include:

- helping in the garden, painting, generally giving a hand.
Hard working people with good sense of humour with a willing disposition will be rewarded with a really comfortable room, WiFi access and great food. Must be able to live in a busy, noisy household with three small children, three cats and a dog!

Work
We are looking for a self-motivated, positive person to help with various tasks around our rambling old farmhouse and garden.
Simple accommodation and great food will be provided in return for at least 6 honest hours work per day.......however sometimes jobs will take longer and the hours may be odd - that's farm life!
We ask Helpers to also be prepared to participate in the tasks of day-to-day family life during their stay, which will include things like laying and clearing the dinner table, packing and unpacking the dishwasher, recycling, putting the bins out for collection etc.... the usual things that make a home tick....
We would prefer a helper who can commit to several weeks stay if possible. There is WIFI internet access here and drivers will have shared use of a car or mountain bike. If you ride, we also have horses.....
We look forward to hearing from you.

Franz stayed on our farm in Normandy from mid- October to the end of December 2009 and was very helpful, hard working, quiet and polite. He always did the jobs he was asked to do (for us, it was lots of painting) and was a pleasant person to have staying with our family. We would recommend him as a reliable Workaway-er.
A really lovely family to stay with. The work is hard but varied, interesting and enjoyable. An overall great experience strongly recommended to anyone looking to spend time in such a beautiful part of the world.
I spent two weeks on the farm (I helped painting) and I had a great time. The family is very nice, busy household, amazing food, useful work and a beautiful sourrouning area to explore. Recommended to everyone.
I can't say enough about the graciousness and hospitality of these wonderful people. Stephane and Kate make you feel right at home; comfortable and well fed and involved in the everyday farm life. They go out of their way on the regular to make sure that your stay there is a great one, and for that I'll always remember this experience as one of my more
David was a great Workawayer......willing, patient, hard-working and good fun to have around.......oh, and our kids all want muscles like his!....An all-round good guy.

I stayed here for almost 3 weeks and really enjoyed my time there. Wonderful house and location, great kids and lovely, generous people. I worked in the garden, prepared for redecorating inside, with the animals, helping in the B&B and milking the cows on the farm. Enjoyed learning about the farm, the history of the house and local area and more
