Siberian Husky tours Paul and Maya together run a Siberian Husky tour with 30 Siberian Huskies.We are a very active couple and have a lot of fun working with the dogs and wilderness activities.

Area: Quetzaltenango

Our Community Center is a non-profit, non-governmental organization funded by its Spanish language school. All of our proceeds return directly to the community through our educational programs for children, which involve teaching English, art, Spanish reinforcement, mathematics, science, theater, and more at four sites on the outskirts of Quetzaltenango (Guatemala´s second-largest city). The children we serve often come from families who have been marginalized by poverty, indigenous Mayan heritage, or rural backgrounds, and many lack access to the privilege of a primary school education even though six years are theoretically provided free of charge under the Guatemalan system. Our foreign volunteers provide creative, thoughtful instruction and activities which these children would otherwise not receive. To that end we seek dedicated and enthusiastic individuals who are motivated to give back to some of the most disenfranchised communities in Quetzaltenango. If you are interested in learning about grassroots social development work through education, want to gain valuable international teaching experience, and improve your Spanish through work with kids, our Community Center has a place for you!

Area: Enontekio

We run a husky farm and a centre for Arctic and Polar exploration. Our husky farm has, at present, 79 adult dogs and 5 pups. Throughout the year, there are standard tasks that volunteers can help with on the farm and then there are additional daily duties that change with the seasons: from lead-dog / puppy training / construction & maintenance work in the Summer, through dog-conditioning and safari preparation work in the Autumn, to actually running safaris and entertaining guests in the Winter and Spring. Our farm is located c. 4km from the main village of Hetta in the region of Enontekio, in Finnish Lapland. There is a small downhill ski centre locally, 120km of XC ski tracks and many opportunities for hiking and kayaking in the summer through one of the most beautiful national parks in Scandinavia. The farm owners are ex professional athletes / explorers - one of whom was the first finn to complete an unsupported expedition to the South Pole, so this is a good place to visit for those who really want to expand their outdoor skills. Having said that, working days here and long and the conditions can be pretty tough, so if you choose to come here, please expect a challenging adventure as opposed to a relaxing holiday. To that end, we have a comprehensive guide manual that we send out to prospective volunteers that pretty much covers everything about life and work on our Arctic farm.

Area: Pupukea Sanctuary

I have a large house on the North Shore of Oahu, overlooking Waimea Bay. Beautiful house, with large mature grounds, that create a very quiet, and private atmosphere. Pets are ok, and we have many. We live quietly and very close to earth. We eat naturally and surf daily. See you soon Aloha
