I just started to run a little hostel in Jericoacoara and it's my first time with "workaway". The place I run is pretty new, has eight rooms, a garden, a common kitchen, a social area and everything else what someone needs to feel comfortable. The place is ready to start but I'm searching for "workawayers" who like to improve a place into a comfy and well organized hostel! I need help in various things; Helpers who are skilled and experienced in internet, hostel work, gardening, electrician and construction work, technical things, creative and interior decoration, cleaning, etc. The help is needed from now onwards. If you are skilled in more than one requirement even better! :)

Hello, We are a young and open-minded couple, who like to bring people together in a green, calm and inspiring environment. From the 14th of September 2012, you are more then welcome at our Ecological Centre for personal development and conscience . In the summer season, July and August, we give Yoga and Art Courses. The rest of the year this idyllic place is open for everyone who wants to participate in the project. All meals are vegetarian and of course free. We have an organic coffee and fruit farm nestled in a small valley of mountains located in Costa Rica. The farm has become a haven for animals in need of care and we currently have seven dogs, three pigs, a cat, rabbit and horse on the property. Our interest is in having an individual/s with interest in nature, animals and enjoying the food of the land. We strive to maintain a healthy lifestyle and prefer caretakers who are the same (No drinkers, smokers or drug users). We are very committed to helping animals in need, and won't compromise that commitment by allowing any type of animal product consumption by our guests on the farm. Even though not all our previous volunteers were vegetarian or vegan, they all ate vegan while staying with us. That has held true for tourist guests as well. Turn your dreams into plans and your can'ts into cans! Come and ride with us. I am what they call a Can Chaser, a professional barrel racer. At our ranch we train horses and riders for women's western rodeo timed events. We also produce Barrel Racing & Steer Wrestling Events. We are a rodeo family, part of the rodeo community. We offer honest rodeo family hospitality and have well trained horses, beautiful trails and an arena to ride in. We are located an hour south of Edmonton and the world famous West Edmonton Mall, two hours north of Calgary and three hours from the Rocky Mountains. We are 15 minutes from Canada's largest Pro Rodeo, The Ponoka Stampede. Our town of Ponoka has some nice restaurants and cowboy style lounges and bars. A great western store for shopping!!! A few other nice boutiques and gift shops. There's also a indoor swimming pool, a few day spas, hair salons, skate park, mini golf and two golf courses and a movie theatre. And friendly small town people.
