Descrição
We are Mick and Leticia, who live in the main homestead, which is a beautiful land space of 6000 acres of natural native land at Springsure, Central Outback Queensland, surrounded by gorgeous daily views of a part of the property. The main homestead is approximately 50 metres from the original house where our volunteers will stay.
At the heart of everything we do is using systems that promote land regeneration, free range animals and pure, non tampered with fruits and vegetables. Our focus is on using Natural Sequence Farming, time controlled grazing and Joel Salatin's farming principles which mimic natural ecosystem processes. We do not sell any produce from our Farm, our aim is to be merely self sufficient while helping Mother Nature to regenerate.
Our Farm is open for volunteers to assist us in our personal gardens and animals, feeding the pigs and moving the chickens. Volunteers may also assist with some building and/or maintaining infrastructure, constructing leaky weirs, fixing fences, and gardening.
Having volunteers join us, we hope this to be a mutually beneficial arrangement. Providing a rewarding, hands-on experience for the volunteers while we receive much appreciated help around the farm.
We offer comfortable accommodation in the original cottage house including 7 bedrooms, shower, toilet, laundry, outdoor kitchen and lounge room, including smart TV. Linen, food, cutlery, crockery, cooking and cleaning needs are provided, with two separate outdoor verandahs to sit and enjoy the sunrise and sunset.

I stayed 6 weeks and I would definitively like to stay longer if I had time. I had my own little apartment and a lot of good food. I worked with the cows, pigs, chicken, dogs and had my own little projects (veggie garden,...) where I could realize my ideas. I also had a great birthday with a… read more
