  Hello!
  We are a 49-year-old mother, Tracy, and a 7-year-old girl, Lía. We are in the process of moving house. We currently live in a small country house just outside Santa Eugenia, 25 minutes from Palma and 10 minutes from the town of Santa María. At home we speak English, but I speak Spanish fluently and Lía is learning it. I'd be super happy if you speak Spanish but English is also ok.
  We are moving to the village of Binissalem, a very quaint village on the train line with a good mix of local and international residents.
  
  The "old" house is quite small but the new house is much bigger. During June we are moving in little by little, but there's a great chance for a couple to live more or less alone at the new house while we just come and go getting the house ready. The new house is completely ready to live in, we just need to bring everything needed to be comfortable.
  
  The exchange would involve helping us with getting the new house ready, maybe a bit of painting (and painting prep which is what seems to take most time!), a little cleaning, some cooking, sometimes coming to the old house to help load / unload items. Perhaps a bit of cleaning at the old house when we are ready to move out completely. maybe hanging out with Lía when I want to go to a fitness session.
  
  Once we move in to the new house which will be by the end of June, there is still room for a couple to stay on and continue to help with a few things as above.
  
  The new house has a yoga room! If you are creative maybe you can help paint a mandala or something beautiful on the wall. Depending on your skills we will find things you can help with.
  If you enjoy cooking healthy food this is a skill I very much appreciate!
  We eat meat. I also love vegetarian dishes if you can produce things that Lía likes! We eat mostly wheat free at home.
  
  Here's a bit about us:
  
  I strive to live life from a place of love and truth. Some of the tools that help me on this path are yoga, dance, meditation and tantra.
  
  Lía is a lively, curious, intelligent, fun and affectionate girl, who loves company and playing, laughing, painting, being in the garden inventing a potion, building fairy houses, but also climbing, jumping and doing more adventurous things.
  
  Lía lives 5 days with me and 2 days with her father, she normally goes from Tuesday to Thursday with him. Some weeks if he travels, she is with me every day. She is at school from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday.
  
  Childcare is not really a big part of what I require from workaway but of course, living together you would be hanging out with her and if you speak Spanish I'll probably ask you to spend more time with her so she can practice! I work from home.
  
  I am an early bedder! We go to bed between 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. every day, we read a story, and when Lía falls asleep, I usually fall asleep too. Then I wake up very early to meditate and start the day, Lia wakes up around 8 a.m. So we ask for quiet during our sleeping hours but in the new house this is not difficult.
  
  The new house is large, has 3 floors, 4 bedrooms plus the big yoga room. It has 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet downstairs. It has an outdoor covered terrace and a small exterior patio.
  1 bedroom for Lía, 1 for me with own bathroom, 1 small bedroom is used as an office and then there is a large double room on the top floor with nice views and this is the guest room where you would sleep, with a comfortable double bed. My plan is to rent the guest room occasionally to friends of friends travelling to the village, but I won't do this until the house is properly ready after the move. On some occasions in the future, workaways would sleep on comfortable floor mattresses in the yoga room if the guest room is rented. The photos on my profile are of the old house, since we only just got the keys to the new one!

  ¡Hola!
  Somos una madre de 49 años, Tracy, y una niña de 7 años, Lía. Estamos en proceso de cambiar de casa. Actualmente vivimos en una pequeña casa de campo a las afueras de Santa Eugenia, a 25 minutos de Palma y a 10 minutos del pueblo de Santa María. En casa hablamos inglés, pero yo hablo español con fluidez y Lía lo está aprendiendo. Estaría super feliz si hablas español pero el inglés también está bien.
  Nos mudamos al pueblo de Binissalem, un pueblo muy pintoresco con tren y una buena mezcla de residentes locales e internacionales.
  
  La casa "vieja" es bastante pequeña pero la nueva es mucho más grande. Durante junio nos estamos mudando poco a poco; hay una gran oportunidad para que una pareja viva más o menos sola en la nueva casa mientras nosotras vamos y venimos preparándola. La nueva casa está completamente lista para vivir, sólo tenemos que traer todo lo necesario para estar cómodos.
  
  El intercambio consistiría en ayudarnos a preparar la nueva casa, tal vez un poco de pintura (y preparación para pintar, que es lo que parece llevar más tiempo), un poco de limpieza, algo de cocina, a veces venir a la antigua casa para ayudar a cargar / descargar cajas y/o muebles. Tal vez un poco de limpieza en la casa vieja cuando estamos listos para mudarnos por completo. tal vez quedarse con Lía cuando quiero ir a una sesión de fitness.
  
  Una vez que nos mudemos a la nueva casa que será a finales de junio, todavía hay espacio para una pareja para quedarse y seguir ayudando con algunas cosas como lo menionado.
  
  La nueva casa tiene una sala de yoga. Si eres creativo quizás puedas ayudar a pintar un mandala o algo bonito en la pared. Dependiendo de tus habilidades encontraremos cosas en las que puedas ayudar.
  Si te gusta cocinar comida sana, ¡es una habilidad que aprecio mucho!
  Comemos carne. También me encantan los platos vegetarianos si puedes producir cosas que le gusten a Lía. En casa comemos sobre todo sin trigo.
  
  Aquí hay un poco de info sobre nosotras:
  
  Me esfuerzo por vivir la vida desde un lugar de amor y verdad. Algunas de las herramientas que me ayudan en este camino son el yoga, la danza, la meditación y el tantra.
  
  Lía es una niña vivaz, curiosa, inteligente, divertida y cariñosa, a la que le encanta la compañía y jugar, reír, pintar, estar en el jardín inventando una poción, construir casitas de hadas, pero también escalar, saltar y hacer cosas más aventureras. También es muy capaz de pasarse ratos largos jugando y entreteniéndose sola.
  
  Lía vive 5 días conmigo y 2 días con su padre, normalmente se va de martes a jueves con él. Algunas semanas si él viaja, ella está conmigo todos los días. Va al colegio de 9 de la mañana a 4 de la tarde, de lunes a viernes. En verano tiene vacaciones pero irá a diferentes escuelas de verano de la zona con diferentes horarios.
  
  El cuidado de Lía no es realmente una gran parte de lo que requiero de workaway, pero por supuesto, viviendo juntos estarías pasando tiempo con ella y si hablas español probablemente te pediré que pases más tiempo con ella ¡para que pueda practicar! Yo trabajo desde casa.
  
  Me acuesto pronto. Nos acostamos entre las 21:00 y las 21:30 todos los días, leemos un cuento y cuando Lía se duerme, yo también suelo dormirme. Luego me levanto muy temprano para meditar y empezar el día, Lía se despierta sobre las 8. Así que pedimos tranquilidad durante nuestras horas de sueño, pero en la nueva casa esto no es difícil.
  
  La nueva casa es grande, tiene 3 plantas, 4 dormitorios más la gran sala de yoga. Tiene 2 baños y 1 aseo. Tiene una terraza exterior cubierta y un pequeño patio exterior.
  1 habitación para Lía, 1 para mí con baño propio, 1 habitación pequeña se utiliza como despacho y luego hay una habitación doble grande en la planta superior con bonitas vistas y esta es la habitación de invitados donde dormirían workaways, con una cómoda cama doble. Mi plan es alquilar la habitación de invitados ocasionalmente a amigos de amigos que viajen al pueblo, pero no lo haré hasta que la casa esté debidamente lista después de la mudanza. En algunas ocasiones en el futuro, los workaways dormirían en cómodos colchones de suelo en la sala de yoga si se alquila la habitación de invitados.

  I am a yoga teacher, although I am not currently practicing. I am also an advocate for births without interventions. I gave birth to Lía at home, in water, almost completely without assistance. I am willing to share my knowledge and experience in this area. When I have time, I love to talk about my experience with consciousness.   COOKING ON YOUR FREE DAYS Preparing food is part of life. You will be one of the family and we will share the house and kitchen tasks. When you have a free day, you don't have to cook if you're not at home, but if you're at home, you still have to cook just like another day I'll cook for you. FREE TIME AT HOME Although I don't usually look at "schedules" and count the hours worked and so on, if you are not on "working" hours, if we are all at home, Lía will surely want to be close to you .   COCINAR EN TUS DIAS LIBRES
  Preparar la comida es parte de la vida. Serás una de la familia y compartiremos las tareas de la casa y de la cocina. Cuando tienes día libre, no hace falta que cocines si no estás por casa pero si estás por casa, igual te toca cocinar igual que otro día cocinaré yo por ti.
  
  TIEMPO LIBRE POR CASA
  Aunque no suelo mirar "horarios" y contar las horas trabajadas y demás, si no estás en horario "laboral", si estamos todos por casa, seguramente Lía querrá estar cerca de ti. Espero que disfrutes estando con ella.
  Si os lleváis super bien, igual en algún momento te dejo a cargo de ella, y esto obviamente se considera "horario laboral", pero no es la intention principal de tu estancia.
  
  Cuando salimos por ahi, en general no será necesario que vengas, pero si nos llevamos todos bien, estarás siempre invitada a acompañarnos e intentaremos ir a enseñarte algo interesante.
  A veces comemos fuera; si quieres venir, tu cuenta será generalmente a tu cargo, aunque a veces te invitaré.

  Our cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, dining room and shared living room with a wood burning fireplace, plus a garden. The house has a pleasant energy and is situated in the middle of fields, a 10 minute walk from the local village. There is a bus stop nearby that will take you to Palma, or you can come with me at some point when I go, I usually go maybe once a week.
  
  Nuestra casa de campo tiene 2 dormitorios, 1 baño, cocina, comedor y sala de estar compartida con una chimenea de leña, además de un jardín. La casa tiene una energía agradable y está situada en medio de campos, a 10 minutos a pie del pueblo local.
  Hay parada de bus cerca que te llevará a Palma, o te vienes conmigo en algún momento cuando yo voy, suelo ir quizás una vez por semana.

  I work from home using the large dining table and you are welcome to set up beside me, there's plenty space. The internet is not fibre optic as it's not possible in this area. Occasionally the internet is not amazing but most of the time it works fine. If you need specially fast internet, ask me for more technical details about my connection. I also like to work outside on the terrace on my laptop during the mornings, which is lovely.
