Here is some information about us.
We are a Spanish family who live in Seville, the South of Spain, where the weather and the people are so nice!
We are 5 people in the family - my 3 kids, Carlota and Arturo (12years old twins) and little Cayetana (8years old), my husband, me!
We live in a big and beautiful house in Seville very close to the city center and famous attractions such as Alcázar palace and Seville Cathedral.
We are a social and outgoing family who like to stay together and we love going to the beach!!!
We provide free accomodation and full board in exchange of 3 hours a day max of English conversation "home lessons" from Monday to Friday. We have been doing this language exchange for years and we love it! Now we are hoping you will share this amazing experience with us.
We are searching for a responsible and respectful person who really enjoy this type of exchange!

Ajuda
We have an opening for a female native english speaker who really enjoys to be around kids. We provide free accommodation and full board in exchange of 3 hours a day max of English conversation from Monday to Friday. We would like to start now! with no limit time for you to stay here (2 months minimum). Once we set everything we will set the schedule but normally the english conversation is at first time in the morning (from 7:20 until the kids go to school at 08:35) and the rest during the afternoons when they come back from school. That means you will have most of day to do what you want, as well as the weekends.

Staying in Seville with this wonderful family has been my first time travelling alone or living away from home, and I genuinely could not have imagined or hoped for a better experience.

It was clear from my first day, in which Gloria, Arturo and their amazing kids immediately made me feel so comfortable and welcome in their home, that this… read more workaway was going to be really special, and it has exceeded any expectations. Gloria and Arturo are so incredibly kind and open, and have also been very patient and helpful with my Spanish, which I have really appreciated! We have had many conversations about Spanish language and culture, and the delicious family meals with traditional Sevillian food has been one of the highlights of my trip! Carlota, Arturo and Cayetana are incredibly funny, clever and sweet kids, who immediately included me in games and conversation. There has not been a day when I have not felt completely comfortable with this host family, and hugely grateful to get to spend time with them!

In terms of accommodation, I have had a very comfortable room with its own bathroom in a separate part of their beautiful house. Their home is really amazing, and even has a rooftop which I have spent many hours on and I am going to be very upset to leave! It is perfectly located in Sevilla: 15 minutes from Feria, 20 minutes from Las Setas and the nearby shopping streets, 30 minutes from the monumental area (with the Catedral de Sevilla, La Giralda, Real Alcázar), 40 minutes from Plaza de España, and 40 minutes from Torre del Oro and the Triana Bridge. This is all walking - the city is also very accessible with buses, the metro and loads of bikes and scooter rentals, but I have rarely felt the need as everything is easily within walking distance. Also, the walks themselves - down the orange-tree lined streets filled with cafes, stores and beautiful colourful houses - have been an amazing part of every day here! Seville is a truly great city, I cannot recommend visiting here enough - whether you want to see beautiful monuments and architecture, eat amazing tapas, attend one of the many language or arts classes (I have loved the BarroAzul ceramics workshop in Triana), or improve your Spanish - this city has it all, along with an incredible atmosphere.

It is also conveniently located near Santa Justa train station and Plaza de Armas, which allows for many trips to other parts of Andalucía on the weekends! I have been to Córdoba, Cádiz, Huelva, Málaga and (soon) Granada, always with many recommendations from Gloria and Arturo about where to visit and the best food to try!

The lessons take place during the week, with one in the morning before the kids go to school and another in the afternoon/evening, which gives you loads of free time at really convenient hours. They are made up of games, conversation practice, homework/revision from school and discussions about vocabulary and grammar; Carlota and Arturo do their lessons together, and then Cayetana does hers on her own. All of the kids have been really amazing students; they are extremely clever (with an already fantastic level of English), enthusiastic, and polite, and it is amazing to see them learn so quickly and do so well!

If you get the opportunity to do this workaway, you are incredibly lucky. Thank you Gloria, Arturo, Carlota, Arturito and Cayetana for a wonderful experience that I will never forget ❤️
