Hello, my name is Thijs and I'm from the Netherlands. In my daily life I'm a self-employed carpenter. I have studied Industrial design for a while, after which I finished a bachelors in social sciences. I liked being a student, although what I really enjoy most is doing physical/practical working, creating things with my hands and coming up with practical solutions for problems I entail. Besides this I like all kinds of sports and being outside in general.
In short; I'm a sportive, hard working, social, reliable, responsible person and a fast learner. I'm very much looking forward for new experiences and meeting new people!Idiomas hablados

I have some experience in house renovation. I grew up in the countryside of Holland, where we renovated an old house ourselves. I learned a little bit about carpentry, masoning, painting, etc. basicly everything that has to do with renovation.
After the renovation, I used to spend a lot of time creating things in the little workshop we have at home. I taught myself woodworking and a little bit of blacksmithing. I guess you could say I'm a handy man.
I'm one of the main volunteers at the one and only 'Mountainboard Park' in the Netherlands. My main work there is making new ramps, promotion (making photo's and video's) and of course riding my board a lot ;), but I also help out with teaching new people how to ride or organising events, for example roadtrips to give demonstrations in order to promote the sport or hosting the Dutch championships at our own park.Edad
