Hello!
We're Elio and Luis! Elio is 24 years old and Luis is 21 years old. We both live in Barcelona. Luis and I met over two years ago and have been great friends since. We're both music students and hoping to be both professional musicians and producers in the near future (we have a band too!). This is our first time joining Workaway!
We adore nature, find peace in working with the land and love surrounding ourselves with all types of animals. We've a very deep desire to understand other cultures and the stories of the people that inhabit all land :)! We also love literature, art, cooking and teaching. We are well understood with technology as well.
We are looking to join a host that needs help with the land. We can provide help with animals, tending to a garden, renovating, painting, teaching (from languages to various knowledge on technology or music, you can ask us!), eco projects and generally help around a house.
One of our biggest dreams right now would be to visit Norway, a country we find ourselves ourselves mesmerized in by its relationship with nature and the deep nordic culture. We're more than willing to sink ourselves deep into a culture we so admire and learn along the way! We hope to be part of a project that involves the countryside, but are willing to adapt to all things necessary. We hope to help people around- and animals :)!

Que habilidades tienes?

Both Luis and I, Elio, have studied music and hold knowledge in both musical language as much as that necessary for producing it (techniques for recording, studios, etc...). We are well versed in drumming, singing, songwriting, playing bass and guitar. We both have a deep love for music history too :-) !
We've been working since our teens, from retail, to coffee baristas, to bakeries and restaurants to sound techs. We are currently helping and teaching kids and young adults in a non-profit music Foundation in Barcelona (Primavera Sound Fundació), aimed to help young people in risk of exclusion in our town through the power of music.
On top of this, as per personal interests go, we both love cooking and love to integrate different cultures into our flavors: Mediterranean cuisine, Venezuelan, Korean, Japanese, etc... Luis is well versed in distinct cooking techniques, and is going to enroll into a cooking school this coming year. We like to work with organic produce the most. In the past we've worked both in kitchens and bakeries.
We love all types of art, and would love to get our hands dirty understanding how to work with wood, paint, etc... Elio loves to paint and has practiced with different techniques in the past. He manages a small magazine as well, and knows how to work with the software required, printing, color techniques, distribution, etc...
We however are still open to leaning even more about it working with various tools!
Both of us have pets and love spending time with them; we adore animals, working and helping them out the most. We've spent time in farms in the past and love helping in them.
Both of us are very interested in getting involved in projects that have an optimistic view for the future, be it eco projects or social ones :)!

We also love playing holding deep conversations, working out, philosophy and hiking! We also enjoy a cozy life indoors every now and then :)
