I plan to travel and explore East Asia, cultural exchanges ..
I'm looking to be useful, share, discover new cultures and new horizons, and exchange as much as possible!!Mi próximo destino:
Japan - Desde Abr 2024 Hasta May 2024 Ver todosDescripción
Hi everyone ! I'm Lucas, a completely new 22 years old workawayer. I grew up in a little town near Bordeaux, called Agen, France. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to travel outside of Europe yet. I've always planned to do an exchange year during my higher education studies, but unfortunately it had to be cancelled because of COVID. So here I am!
I'm nearing the end of my engineering studies, which is why I'm taking this gap year before my last year of study to travel, learn new things, immerse myself in different cultures and make myself useful. I want to discover and explore the world.
I love learning and sharing. Of course, at 23 years old, I don't have much experience outside of my academic background. However, I'm a quick learner and I'm eager to acquire new skills. When something interests me, I wholeheartedly invest myself in the project! I have good interpersonal skills, I know how to work in a team, and I'm very versatile, which allows me to adapt easily to new environments. I also have strong IT skills, and I can code; it would be a pleasure to share my knowledge.
I've always been physically active and passionate about sports. I have been involved in judo, basketball, volleyball, and table tennis in clubs and competitions (yes, that's a lot). So, physically demanding tasks that require a lot of energy or strength don't scare me! (I would even say I love them). I love working in nature with animals.
I would describe myself as open-minded and proactive, so there's no need to constantly tell me what needs to be done. I'm looking forward to meeting wonderful people and working and sharing with them.

I am very resourceful, versatile, and a quick learner, so don't worry, I will be efficient quickly! I have always been a handyman and love working with my hands. During my younger years, I worked in tobacco fields every summer to earn some extra money. I also had the opportunity to give some tutoring sessions to 10-year-old kids in primary schools. Additionally, I have good IT skills thanks to my studies, and I would be delighted to share my knowledge in computer science and coding if needed.
