Hi!
My name is Laci, I'm 34 years old and I'm from Tulsa, Oklahoma USA. I love to travel and experience new places and meet new people.

I first visited Europe when I was seven years old, came back at 25, 28 and recently in 2023. I think about it all the time. My heart belongs to where I'm from. My heritage is Italian and English. I am in awe of Europe and it's people, history, architecture, culture, food and art.

I did the tourist thing in 2015 and I learned that seeing all the sites day after day is awesome but I felt.. unsatisfied. I knew when I went back I wanted to go somewhere off the beaten path and I wanted it to feel more authentic... I wanted it to feel like I lived there. And so in 2018 I found my first workaway opportunity and it was perfect. It was exactly what my soul wanted and needed.

I am a videographer, photographer and painter. I've been painting since I was 17, I've been a professional photographer for the last 12 years and I started video in 2018. I am blessed to be self employed. I have my own company and shoot videos and photos for businesses.

My hobbies include painting, playing my ukulele and piano, cooking! Hanging out with friends, family, and my awesome cat (Birdie), going to the climbing gym, working out, being outside! I also love to read and write.

I have a big heart. I love people and hearing their stories. Every person is so valuable. I love being where the people are. All that to say, I also love my solitude... a lot. :)

I have a HUGE appreciation for nature and beauty. I will photograph and paint the beautiful landscapes that I find. I am close to God and care about the earth, others and myself. I also love hiking, biking, gardening, kayaking, paddle boarding and really just about anything outside.

I have always been a hard worker and I love to work with others/teamwork. I also love to work with my hands... gardening, cooking, really any sort of manual labor I find enjoyable and the feeling of a job well done is the best.

I'm looking for a beautiful cultural exchange filled with community and joy.

I would love to become a part of a team/community abroad. I am open to staying long term if the place is right. I enjoy diving deep into authentic culture and experiencing a country/city to its fullest.

I am open to doing the work you need done but I am also open to bringing my camera gear with me and creating a video/ taking photos for you to enhance your endeavors! This would be a true trade experience. I did create a video for my last workaway I did at a Monastery in Fabriano, Italy. I have a heart for missionary work in the Kingdom of God. My dream would be to create meaningful videos for people all across the world who are doing God's work... people who are making this place a bit better than they found it and shining His light into the darkness. I am here just hoping I get to play my part in all this and hopefully help bring the light by using the gifts God has given me.
